Question: How come King Kong is on the ad smoking a cigar? He wasn't in the movie or anything.

Answer: Ads are often made months before the final editing of any movie. Therefore, it's not unsual for something to be in an ad but not in the final movie (or to happen differently, or a different shot, or different music, etc.).

Question: What happens if a "Captain-eyes-only" message comes in and the captain is off the ship and not easily accessible? Is the message transferred, or does the captain give his first officer permission to view the message?

Answer: It would depend on just how inaccessible the Captain was. If possible the message would be transferred. Otherwise, in the Captain's absence, the first officer would be the acting Captain and would be permitted to view the message.

Question: Does Cyclops sleep with his visor on?

Answer: He has various other sets of glasses made of the same material - he would wear one of those rather than his bulkier visor.

Question: In the full Theatrical Trailer, does anyone know what song is playing from where Davy Jones says, "...and it's time to pay up." until the end of the trailer? Thanks.

Answer: It's a bit more complex than a single track, I'm afraid, as it consists of several bits of music merged together. First up is a piece called "Choral Swell 3", by a group called "Music Junkies". Other pieces represented are a pair from a group called "Immediate Music", who do a lot of trailers, entitled "Def Con" & "Epicon", then, from Pfeifer Broz Music, bits entitled "Evil Island", "Falling Comatose" and "Tortured Souls".

Question: Are all the cars around the house from people Leatherface has killed in the past?

Answer: The audience is meant to assume this, although it is never stated explicitly.

Question: I haven't seen this movie but I've seen the adverts. Is the woman who plays Sandler's wife the same woman who plays Kate in Lost? She sure does look like her.

Answer: No Sandler's wife in the movie is played by Kate Beckinsale. Kate on Lost is played by Evangeline Lilly.

Question: If Mrs Fackler is married to Mr Fackler, the nerdy cop, why does she want to share rooms with Kirkland?

Answer: The way I see it is that Kirkland and her are cadets, Mr. Fackler is not a cadet and wouldn't sleep in same dorm.

blackdahlia

Answer: Because Kirkland is a fit and handsome young man.

Question: When Professor X starts killing everyone, he and Jason remain unharmed. Does Cerebro protect them from it?

Answer: Anyone inside the Cerebro chamber would have to be immune to its effects. Otherwise, the professor wouldn't be able to use the machine.

Question: I was reading one of the first transcripts of Scream on the internet and at the end of the movie just before Sidney kills Billy, she says something along the lines of "and this, Billy Studbucket, is for having an incredibly small weenie." Does anyone know why this was cut out of the final film?

Answer: I have read the original scripts and that line isn't in them, so don't know what you read, must have been fake.

Answer: Who knows. Almost every movie made has gone through a myriad of script rewrites before ending up with the finished movie and changes are made on all levels of production; from the initial scriptwriting, to on the set changes, to changes made in post production.

Question: Why did Michael's secretary keep asking him if she could go to the toilet?

Answer: She felt that she had to ask permission to do everything. She feared that she would make Michael angry if he needed her and she wasn't there.

Question: Originally, the character Detective Mathews was written to be in the movie. Then the actor (Donnie Wahlberg) supposedly left due to creative differences. But nevertheless, he is in Saw III. Does anyone know the details of the matter?

Answer: Simply put the creators of Saw III did not want you to know that Donnie was going to be in the movie, so they put that up there so you could be suprised when you saw him.

Unusual

Answer: It could also be due to the death of Gregg Hoffman, one of the producers of Saw and Saw II, who unexpectedly died during the making of Saw III.

Why would the death of a producer make the people involved in the film deliberately mislead fans about Donnie Wahlberg leaving the project?

Phaneron

It literally says on the Saw III Wikipedia that Wahlberg didn't want to return for Saw III, but because of Hoffman, he decided to return for his honour.

Question: I have seen a different ending to this film. Every now and then when it airs on TV the movie ends with Doc in 1955, standing at the site where Marty just went back to 1985, and then Marty comes running up to him and says "I'm back" (or something similar). I seem to remember that this is the standard ending to the second film. Why is it occasionally used to end the first one?

Answer: That's actually the beginning scene in Back to the Future 3. It would make no sense to end the first film with that sequence, as at that point Marty hasn't returned to 1955 after getting home the first time.

Correct. Just for completion: This scene, opening part 3, is also shown at the end of part 2.

Question: A whole lot of questions are answered is this movie, but there's one thing not explained. What happened to Dr. Gordon?

Answer: After crawling out of the bathroom, Dr. Gordon cauterizes his leg on a hot steam pipe in the tunnels outside. He then passes out and Jigsaw finds him and nurses him back to health, giving him a new foot. Gordon then becomes Jigsaw's helper, helping him in many of his traps.

Question: Who is Jedidiah? Where did he come from and Why isn't he in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning?

Answer: Jebidiah was the grandson of the sheriff. Since TCM:TB was a prequel, telling about Leatherface's upbringing, he would not have been born yet.

Question: Just after Mystique takes the bullet for Magneto, he does acknowledge that she saved him, but walks away. It was very obvious that she did save him so the line wasn't put there for explanation, so why have Magneto say that she saved him if he didn't care?

Answer: As you said yourself, he's acknowledging to her that she saved him. Whether he now cares about her or not, an acknowledgement is hardly unreasonable.

Question: It's mentioned in a correction that Izzy is killed in the crash. Why is this said when he can be seen crawling away from the crash just before Double D has the showdown with the Creeper.

Answer: He was crawling away before the car exploded.

Answer: The car explodes a while after it crashed, too fast for Izzy to get away.

Answer: He probably didn't get far enough.

Answer: You can see him crawl away before it explodes.

Question: During the La Vie Boheme song Angel looks at Roger over the top of Mark and says something. Anyone know what it is?

Answer: Angel says "I can feel his balls".

Answer: He wants her assigned to a different job so he won't see her anymore.

Question: Where did Colossus and the other students go after they escaped from the school?

Answer: It's never shown in the movie. We only know they escape through the hidden tunnels. Since the students obviously knew about the tunnels, there was likely a predetermined location for them to meet at in an emergency.
