Question: *spoilers* I read that in the play, Alice is hit by a car and killed. At the end of the movie, we see her walking down a street, and she keeps walking as a light changes to a red hand sign. Is this supposed to mean that she also gets hit by a car in this version, but the movie ends and doesn't show her being hit?

Question: In "Greek Bearing Gifts" apparently the doctors sonic screwdriver is on Tosh's desk. Could someone tell me at what time you can see it please?
Answer: Several times during the episode, most notably at the beginning when the old grave is discovered, Tosh holds a devise that looks a great deal like the Sonic Screwdriver that she uses to determine the age of the skeleton. However, a search of Google images shows that it is not the same thing.
Question: Are the vampire prosthetics the same kind Joel Schumacher used in The Lost Boys?
Chosen answer: There is no way to be positive as Schumacher has never addressed this issue publicly. I can tell you that there are no common special effects make-up personnel between the two productions.
Question: At the end of the movie, when Tom finds out that Meredith is on the boat, he wants to kill either her or Peter because they both believe different stories about him and might run into each other. Is there any reason why he chose to kill Peter?
Answer: After running into Meredith, Tom's plan was to stay in the cabin with Peter the entire trip to avoid them seeing one another. But after Tom makes that suggestion, Peter tells Tom that he seen him kissing Meredith. He couldn't avoid or kill her since Peter already saw her. Family members also saw Tom with Meredith. If Meredith suddenly vanished or was killed I'm quite sure there'd be an investigation. Peter was the only option. No one is on board to report Peter missing. Once the boat docks, Tom will be long gone before they discover Peters body. Unlike Meredith, her family would be looking for her immediately since they're traveling together. I'm quite sure he'd much rather have killed Meredith, she meant nothing to him.
Answer: Meredith was travelling with many other people and he can't kill all of them, so he has to kill Peter. Anthony Minghella discusses this in the audio commentary of the film.
Answer: I saw a lot of reviews saying killing Meredith would be harder because she traveled with a lot of people on the ship. Considering that Tom was able to figure out the old trick where he made Meredith to coincidentally meet up with Peter and Marge in a cafe, I'm pretty sure he could up with the same plot to tell Meredith to meet him somewhere around the corner of the ship too, say in the middle of the night to look at the moon etc. Peter beforehand can be exhausted due to consumption of alcohol or had steamy session of coitus so he could never find out that Peter went out to see Meredith. I don't know how the cruise ship of the 50s worked out at the time but there must be a range of dinner time where people go to a hall for their meals - therefore Tom could persuade Meredith to have some alone time at her cabin while the rest of her Cos were having dinner. Since Meredith was infatuated of him, anything what Tom could have said or planed something with her she would have agreed.
Question: Is David Boreanaz's last name pronounced the way it's spelled?
Question: In the season three premiere, House runs several miles on his leg, now that he is pain-free. Is that even logical? He had a large part of his thigh muscle removed, and can he really run like that without it? And furthermore, wasn't it the lack of muscle which made him need a cane, rather than the pain?
Answer: Yes, it makes sense. He had "Some" leg muscle removed, but it is never discussed how much, so it's possible that it was a very small amount, he doesn't need the cane because of his leg, he needs because of the pain his leg causes him when the leg muscles need to bear weight.
Question: What are the different levels of Jedi, in order? I know that in this movie, Anakin is a Knight but not a Master.
Answer: Right at the very bottom, you have the younglings, who appear to have no particularly official title, but who have been variously referred to as Jedi Initiates, Jedi Students and occasionally Jedi Hopefuls. As they age and are apprenticed to a Jedi Master or Jedi Knight, they become a Padawan, travelling with their mentor. Once a Padawan is deemed ready by his or her mentor, they will enter a series of trials, at the end of which they will have the rank of Jedi Knight conferred upon them (in certain cases, where a Padawan has performed some act of extraordinary heroism, this may be taken in lieu of the trials, an example being Obi-wan Kenobi, who was promoted to Jedi Knight after his defeat of Darth Maul). The remaining official rank is that of Jedi Master, which is most commonly conferred on a Jedi after they successfully train their first Padawan to Knight rank, but may also be awarded by their peers after some particularly grand act or major advancement in the Force. While not technically possessing a higher rank, the twelve Jedi who sit on the council can be considered to possess higher authority within the Order. Finally, an unofficial but acknowledged position within the Order is that of Grand Master, considered "first among equals" in the council, held by Yoda at the time of the fall of the Old Republic.
Question: SPOILER: How did The Game managed to get Nicholas Jump right into the giant Mattress in the end?
Answer: One of the guys says, at the end, if he (Nicholas) didn't jump, it was his job to push him. It's just good luck he landed right in the correct spot - we can only assume that if he was going to jump in entirely the wrong place he would have been stopped.
Answer: On the roof there was a waist high rim too high to step up onto, but there was a portable step in just the right place to position Douglas exactly where he needed to jump off to hit the air bag perfectly.
Question: There might not be an official answer to this, but did Dickie really have any attraction to Tom, or did Tom just want to think that he did?
Answer: Dickie forms quick, intense friendships with people, and just as quickly decides that he doesn't need them anymore. This was probably just a sudden friendship, not an attraction.
Answer: He believed that the friendship that the two had was real and genuine. And meant to last. What Marge warned him about, was very real.
Question: In the scene where Spider-man is given the key to the city, when he swings in, I recognized that the song the marching band was playing was the spider-man theme song from the old cartoon. I think we first heard this in Spider-man 2 when that Asians lady was singing it on the corner. Where would this band hear this song to be playing it at the ceremony? How do they know of it?
Chosen answer: Given his popularity by the 3rd movie, it is not unlikely that a cartoon has been made based on him or that someone wrote the song about Spiderman and it has become popular. Also, we hear a (slightly modified) version of the song in the first movie as well...the singing cowboy. So the song has clearly been around for some time.
Question: Was David Swift credited as a screenwriter because he wrote the 1961 film, or did he actually help write this one?
Chosen answer: According to IMDb.com David Swift is credited for writing the original 1961 movie and doing the screenplay for the 1998 movie.
Question: After Marge found Dickie's rings at Tom's place and confronted him, why did he hold a razor in his pocket and cut his hand?
Answer: I believe he was going to hurt her, but when he was talking to her, he was getting too upset and frustrated, and where he would have made his hands into fists, he then cut himself. Then again, he wasn't totally sane anyway, so there could just be no explanation that we would know of.
I wondered the same thing about the razor, but he couldn't get away with killing her either.
Question: I read somewhere that there was one plot hole between the 3rd and 4th episodes that the filmmakers forgot to fill in when making the 3rd movie. I tried to click on the link, but it wouldn't work, so could someone please tell me what the plot hole was?
Answer: This is very much a matter of opinion. As with any film, some people consider there to be multiple plot holes, whereas others don't. One thing that Lucas did originally say would be explained was the erasure of Kamino from the Jedi Archives (as discovered in the second film). This ultimately didn't happen, which some have claimed represents a plot hole in the series, whereas all it really is is an omission of information (which was ultimately dealt with in the book "Labyrinth of Evil" anyway). It's really down to how people look at it and what they consider to be a plot hole.
Question: I don't understand how Michael and Lincoln have different last names when they are brothers with the same parents, why aren't they both Burrows or both Scofield?
Answer: Michael took his mother's maiden name after his father deserted them.
Question: Does anyone know what Luke's Sith name would have been had he turned to the Dark Side?
Answer: No. As, being the hero of the piece, there was no chance of it actually happening, it's highly unlikely that the subject was ever considered. Even when Luke temporarily joined the Dark Side in the EU comics, no Sith name was ever given.
I don't think there was any planned name for if he turned to the dark side. However, in a theoretical ending to this movie, Luke waits for Vader to die then puts on the mask and becomes the new Darth Vader. Assuming he would have killed Darth Vader instead of ending up being hit with Palpatine's lightning, the same thing could've happened. It would be more convenient for the emperor.
Question: What is the significance of the crazed woman (wielding a hammer, wearing a jacket, frizzled hair) that appears several times throughout the movie? What does she represent? She appears during the scene where Mike Enslin notices his doppelganger in the window across the street from him, once in a quick shot with her holding up her hammer, and she shows up for the last time as a character in the painting of a ship lost at sea as the room falls apart.
Answer: I don't think there is any actual significance to the character, because a lot of the other things and characters didn't make sense either. It was just another way of building the tension and scaring the audience, but also the character was there because they were in the painting. Hopefully that helps.
Answer: The women is from the schooner lost at sea picture - that is she comes out of the picture. All three pictures have relevance - The Hunt; where the hunted now runs the hotel - The Schooner lost at Sea - where the knife wielder comes from. Many of the "demons" originate from the pictures, including the "vent crawler" who is most likely from the schooner. The room itself is not evil, it is the pictures in the room that are evil, they just happen to reside in the room. The numbers of the room melt from the fire set in the room, not as part of an "evil showing."

Answer: I think you are correct; that's what is implied by the red light at the crosswalk. A note on that same scene... I couldn't figure out why all the other pedestrians are looking at her, before she gets to the crosswalk.
