Question: Why was Dumbledore portrayed as an emotional character in this movie (being extremely sad, worried and angry)? Whereas in the previous movies and books he is portrayed as an kind, calm and all knowing that other characters look up to. Example of this was in the scene where they found out that Harry unexpectedly became a champion. After entering the room, Dumbledore grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him semi-violently. In the books, he simply looked gravely at Harry and quietly questioned him.

Answer: Dumbledore's character evolves, especially in Harry's eyes. More and more, Harry sees Dumbledore as wise, but with weaknesses and flaws. The movies are portraying this differently than the books, but the point is the same. Harry's realizing that Dumbledore isn't perfect.

Question: When Mace Windu deflected the sith lightning, did Palpatine fake being weak or in agony? Was it a test to see if Anakin would save him? If so, what did he mean when he shouted unlimited power?

Answer: It may not have been entirely faked, although it does seem somewhat unlikely that a Sith Lord would be affected in any serious way by his own Force lightning, but Palpatine was certainly not remotely as endangered as he made out. It does seem that it was a test, designed to finally ensnare Anakin in the Sith web, by forcing him to turn on another Jedi. His shout of 'unlimited power' seems to have been a final taunt to the suddenly helpless Mace Windu.

Question: If Padmé is Queen Amidala's name, shouldn't all security forces know that it was her instead of the decoy? Wouldn't it be better to hide that name too?

Answer: It's safe to say that all her security staff will be aware of the decoy procedure - otherwise, they wouldn't know who to protect if things really went wrong. As for outsiders, Queen (later Senator) Amidala is her formal name and would be the one that everyone was familiar with; her birth name of Padme Naberrie is unlikely to be generally known.

Question: Why did Lureen lie to Ennis about how Jack died?

Answer: Lureen may have been lied to about how Jack died. As a kid, Ennis had seen the body of a man that was killed for being gay. Knowing that Jack was 'seeing' other men, Ennis knew that he must have been killed for that reason instead of the way that Lureen explained it. Even if she did know the truth, she may have lied to him because she didn't want Ennis to know how Jack really died.

Jane Doe

Question: Can anyone make out what Tess whispers to Danny after Toulour makes them tell him that he is the best? I can only hear very little but I can tell that she is actually saying something.

Answer: Tess says to Danny, "Get him to tell us how he did it and then tell him he's the best. I'm not going to tell him he's the best because I think you're the best."

Tina Gilliam

Question: When Tess (pretending to be Julia Roberts) sees Bruce Willis in the suite, he asks, "Where's Danny?" and she replies that he's working. How does Bruce Willis know about Danny Ocean? Is there a different Danny connected to Julia Roberts in real life?

Answer: Bruce isn't asking about Danny Ocean, he's asking about Julia's real life husband, Danny Moder.

Jane Doe

Question: Doc knows all the timeline details of Marty Jr's movements on the 2015 day. So I assume to get this detailed of information, he had to have watched/followed him on that day. How come you never see the "other" Doc and time machine anywhere from Docs previous 2015 visit?

Answer: Because the Doc we're following would be careful to stay away from the path of the other Doc.

Question: Why was the universe ending? I have watched the movie several times and I cannot find an explanation.

Answer: Donnie ended one universe/timeline by going back in time to save his girlfriend. The new one effectively started with his death.

Grumpy Scot

Question: In the extended edition Gandalf and Pippin talk about the hobbit's new place as guard of the citadel. Gandalf begins to cough and Pippin pours him some water. During the shot of Pippin with the carafe Gandalf can be heard muttering something which seems to begin with "ridiculous". What is he saying?

Answer: He says "Ridiculous hobbit".

Andreas[DK]

Question: There are a few shots where Merry and Pippin can be seen on a horse together with a human, both visible in the same shot. Merry's face can sometimes be seen on-screen at the same time as Éowyn's when they are riding and at Isengard the camera in one shot pans from Aragorn's face to Pippin sitting behind him on the horse. How were these shots done? Forced perspective can hardly be used on a horse, especially with Merry who sat in front of Éowyn.

Answer: Most of the time, they would use small actors playing the hobbits (usually in long shots), or specially-built enlarged models of Aragorn or Éowyn sitting next to the regular actor. In some cases, hobbit-sized puppets were also used. The WETA team would then impose Dominic Monaghan's and Billy Boyd's face over the faces of the scale doubles or puppets in post-production.

Question: Why was the Bride never arrested or even charged with any crime after she left so many people dead in the restaurant and even more who were maimed? After her bloody revenge work was done, why is she able to just get on an airplane and leave the country with no repercussions whatsoever?

Answer: The answer falls under the common film cheat that we don't know what happened so one can only speculate as to what happened. When the police came and whether they knew it was her is up for debate. As for leaving the country, she was a professional killer who had killed all over the world so its not out of the scope of her abilities to get out of the country without being held by the police. Again it's speculation so she might have used fake passports or the police didn't have enough evidence to hold her.

Lummie

Question: What is the name of the song played when the plane leaves the oil rig?

Answer: "Gimme Some Lovin'" by The Spencer Davis Group.

Question: I don't understand parts of the scene where Lisa runs over the hit man. The hit man is just standing outside the door for some reason. After Lisa runs over him she runs inside the house and her father said he called the police already, why did he call them? The hit man was just standing outside waiting for the call, her father didn't know what was going on. Did he call the police because she drove into his house, even though there had only been a few seconds in between scenes?

Answer: Yes he called because she hit the guy and ran into his house. When 911 calls back they say that they had a call about somone being hit in front of the house and asks if they still need the police.

Answer: I haven't been able to find any information on its whereabouts so my guess would be that ended up like most movie props do. Either as a souvenir for one of the people attached to the movie, (actor, director, etc.) in storage (in case it could be recycled as a prop in another movie) or simply discarded when it wasn't needed anymore.

Question: Does Howard Shore the composer for the Lord of the Rings trilogy make a cameo appearance as the orchestra conductor at King Kong"s theater debut?

Question: In the beginning of the film, where Dracula is talking to Viktor vonFrankenstein, he slams the chest shut and begins yelling at him. Before this, Viktor was looking over his shoulder and his attention immediately snaps back to Dracula, but he then turns once more to look behind him before staring at Dracula again, can someone explain why he looks over his shoulder a second time?

Answer: During their conversation Dracula is able to move around the room without Viktor noticing it. Then Dracula is standing on top of the fireplace behind Viktor, that's why he turns his head the first time. When Dracula suddenly slams the chest Viktor is surprised to see Dracula suddenly standing in front of him so he instinctively turn his head to look at the fireplace to believe his own eyes.

Mortug

Question: Is there anywhere where I can get the music from the Pleasantville trailer?
