Trivia: Lenore Zann originally turned down the role of Rogue, as she had no interest in working on a cartoon, deeming it not serious enough. Her agent eventually convinced her to audition. When she finally read for the part, the casting directors immediately told her that she was exactly what they were looking for.

Trivia: For reasons yet to be disclosed by either party, series creator Beau DeMayo was fired by Disney only days before its Disney+ premiere. Despite his firing, DeMayo regularly interacted with fans on X (formerly Twitter) regarding plot details following the release of each episode, as well as recommending what episodes from the original series fans should watch in preparation for the release of certain episodes of this series.

Trivia: Although the production paid to have Magic Mountain closed off for the cast and extras to film the show's opening titles sequence, the cast was not allowed to ride any of the rides for insurance reasons. The close-up shots of the cast on the roller coaster were done in front of a green screen, while the long shots were of stunt doubles.

Trivia: The main antagonists of this series are a terrorist organization called the Flag Smashers, led by a woman named Karli Morgenthau. In the comics, the Flag Smashers are not an organization, but rather a man named Karl Morgenthau who goes by the moniker of the Flag Smasher.

Trivia: Although he provided the artwork for the opening titles, artist Alex Ross had a very negative opinion of this film, calling it "sh*t on toast" in an interview with Wizard magazine.

Stupidity: Despite being wanted for murder, escaping jail, and having his face plastered on the front page of the newspaper, Morbius meets Martine in a public diner and doesn't even make an attempt to conceal his identity while they are seated. Even shaving off his beard and cutting his hair short would have gone a long way in making him more unrecognizable.

Plot hole: When Agents Stroud and Rodriguez attempt to arrest Morbius, he evades them by rapidly flying up to the roof from the building's ground floor. Then when Morbius unsuccessfully tries to fly off the roof, Agent Stroud has somehow already made it to the roof to apprehend him, even though Morbius had only been on the roof for a few moments.

Trivia: This was Josh Brolin's film debut. He had over 300 auditions for various projects before finally landing his first on-screen acting gig for this film. Even before securing the role, he was asked back six times before finally being cast.

Trivia: Josh Brolin would call various hotels in west Texas and have recorded conversations for the purpose of developing his accent for the film. He eventually based his accent on a man he met at a gas station.
