Spider-Man (1994)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: It was a part of the character's redesign. The writer of Spider-Man, John Semper Jr, disliked the Fantastic Four cartoon to the point that he not only changed characters' designs but their voice actors as well.

Redesigning the character is not a valid correction, because it still creates a contradiction within the shared universe. Even under the pretense of redesigning the character due to not liking the previously established version, it would still be a deliberate mistake.

Iron Man (1994)

Origin of Iron Man: Part 1 - S1-E11

Character mistake: When young Tony Stark is telling his father that their helicopter's anti-flak chip didn't kick in, he acknowledges that it was his fault by saying he blew it. When his father corrects him and says "No Tony, we blew it. Stark and Son," Tony defensively says "The anti-flak chip failed, it's not my fault," completely contradicting what he said seconds earlier. (00:14:00)

Origin of Iron Man: Part 1 - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Rhodey, Julia and Wanda are watching Iron Man heading to the volcano on the monitor, Julia is standing with her feet pressed together and pointed at the equipment in front of her. When the shot changes, her feet are now several inches apart and pointed towards Rhodey on her left. (00:01:18)

The Mask of Doom: Part 3 - S1-E10

Factual error: When the Persians launch the boulder at the Greek ship, it falls short and lands in the ocean. The ensuing splash is far too small for the mass of the boulder and the velocity at which it landed in the water. (00:15:31)

Fantastic Four: The Animated Series mistake picture

The Mask of Doom: Part 3 - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: When Reed outstretched his body towards the Greek ship, it is the brown area of his armor that makes up the bridge between the Persian ship and the Greek ship. When Thing is shown running across Reed's body to get to the Greek ship, it is now blue instead of brown. When Reed unstretches himself, it is now shown to be his bare legs that were the bridge. The Mask of Doom: Part 3 - S1-E10

Other mistake: After Thing breaks the chains he, Reed and Johnny were bound to, Johnny's cufflinks simply slip off his hands. Breaking chains wouldn't magically cause the cufflinks to now be able to slip off a person's hands. And if Johnny was able to slip them off anyway, he wouldn't have needed to wait for Thing to break the chains to do so. (00:14:19)
