Continuity mistake: Jail cells have a rectangular slot with an outward flat extension for setting down food trays. The guard checks cells after "lights out" and there are no flat extensions for trays. (00:23:50 - 00:24:35)
Continuity mistake: The flower earrings from Kat Valdez in the press conference are worn with the little petals on the inside; when she comes out of the press conference on the roof, the flower earrings are worn with the little petals on the outside. (00:39:33 - 00:42:28)
Continuity mistake: After Art yells for Jesse to come to eat lunch, the stick of butter on the plate is roughly parallel to the edge of the table, but is diagonal when Art and Jess come to the table. A later view from the other end of the table shows the stick of butter parallel to the edge again. Some of the family members take a roll out of the basket, but none take any butter (so did not move it). (00:20:45)
Continuity mistake: The amount of pain pills in the bottle was inconsistent and it isn't clear how Carlo could have managed to remove the safety cap (apparently without using his injured arm). After Carlo poured about 12 pills onto the counter, the bottle later looked just as full (if not fuller) as it was. (00:28:03 - 00:28:35)
Continuity mistake: The way Margot's bag/purse was set on the bed (handles hanging over the foot) was different (near the center) when Margot leaned/fell backwards onto the bed. Also, when Margot jumped off the bed, the purse was back to being closer to the foot of the bed with the handles hanging somewhat over the side. (00:23:34 - 00:28:51)
Continuity mistake: Before Abraham stands near the wooden cross, there are piles of wood and a blue/white water hydrant (?) behind him. When he stands and takes a step, only one pile of wood is visible. After he takes a few diagonal steps behind the cross and turns around, he is standing in front of his house that was not there. Continuity mistake: Jenna takes one red cup from the 3 stacked next to the higher stack and returns the two cups to her left (and left of the higher stack). Jenna uses her left hand, supported by her right, to handle the bottle of wine, but the 2 cups disappear after she sets the bottle on the table. (00:19:50 - 00:20:14)
Continuity mistake: When the waiter puts Lily's "Cleopatra Special" plate in front of her, the long, white, curved ingredients (bean sprouts?) stick upward across her plate, but none are visible or sticking out in alternating views of her plate. (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: Harry sets his pen off the left side of his notepad and has both of his hands to the right of it, but the pen is on top of the notepad when the camera shifts. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: The way Banshee's bangs are combed back vary a few times in a couple minutes (elevator fight scene). Sometimes, the left side is higher than the right side and other times the highest point is near the middle of her forehead. The "curve" at which the bangs are combed toward the right side also vary, from little to no curve to wavier toward the right. (00:06:36 - 00:07:57)
Continuity mistake: When ladybug is sitting at the table with Lemon, and they start fighting over the pistol, Brad Pitt drops the gun's magazine out of the tub onto the floor. In the subsequent shuffle you see the bottom of the gun with a magazine still in it and immediately cut to it on the floor. The next shot after he grabs the magazine off the floor you see the gun with no magazine. (00:40:20)
Continuity mistake: The position/angle of the telescope that Ronald uses to watch the nude lady and spot Sky in Chris' house doesn't match how the telescope was supposedly redirected. The telescope (which is already oddly angled toward the side window sill and initially corresponding to about 8:10 on a clock) would sometimes correspond to roughly 9:17 but awkwardly between 10:20 and 11:20 other times. Despite the different angles, Ronald was watching the same nude lady. (00:41:56 - 00:44:36)
Continuity mistake: Before Lady Death attacks Brandon Beckett, the six garbage bags (near the front) are close to the wood block pallet (which appears to be a standard GMA @ 48"x40"), but after Brandon picks up one garbage bag to shield himself from her knife, there is more space between the garbage bags and the block pallet (which is now smaller, more like size 36"x36"). Continuity mistake: Dan and Allen were close together when they were talking on the dirt road. Based on how far Allen threw the blindfold toward Dan's feet, Dan's feet/boots should have been visible. The blindfold was close to Dan's feet in the wider shot. (00:15:13)
Continuity mistake: Laura's hair was (flipped) above her shoulders when she brought Cody to school. When she was in her car, her hair was much longer, going at least a couple or few inches down her back. Laura's hair was back to its shorter length (above-the-shoulders) when she got to the typing room at work. (00:15:44 - 00:16:06)
Continuity mistake: Overlooking the sudden drop from 1:02 to 0:17 seconds on the countdown clock, the one-second interval beeps are not accurate. In the countdown from 10 seconds, there are approximately or precisely 10 beeps, then the countdown clock shows 4 seconds remaining. (00:19:55)
Continuity mistake: In the first view of Rockit holding the surfboard with both hands, he has a loop of hair midway along his center-parted hair, but the loop is gone in the next front view of him. (00:11:14)
Continuity mistake: Outside the warehouse door/metal gate, Shae's flashlight produces a bright circle of light onto the pavement because it is a dimly-lit area. She uses her flashlight to look under the gate, which is open about 2' at the bottom. After she rolls under the gate, the pavement now behind her is in the sunlight. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: The amount of Kyle's facial hair changes (i.e, grows too much/fast) from the beginning of the scene when he is on the rock talking to Jaelyn to the end of the scene when he is standing in the water. Kyle's facial hair is back to its lesser amount when he is in the villa; it isn't clear how much time has passed, but it doesn't appear to be much. (00:17:06 - 00:20:28)
