Continuity mistake: When Priscilla meets Elvis in Germany the position of the letters on the bed and of the papers scattered on the floor change positions between shots.
Continuity mistake: At the end, the French soldier tries to kill Paul in the wet mud. When they finish struggling and spot the pistol on the floor, the mud on Paul's face is now dried and caked on.
Continuity mistake: When the moderator says "I think that's a word that will have a slightly different meaning for many in our audience", he places his right hand on the armrest, but when the shot cuts, his right hand is on his lap. (00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: In Riri Williams' dorm room, the number of braids hanging over her shoulder changes frequently while Riri and Shuri are talking.
Continuity mistake: In the final battle, Lin Mi Sheng has her hair pinned up in a French twist. Her hair changes very frequently between shots and combat sequences. Sometimes it switches from a French twist to a slick chignon.
Continuity mistake: In a pivotal scene in the middle of the film, Josh and his stepmother Constance are having a conversation about how Lyle has helped Josh adapt to life in New York City. In the background, the same woman can be seen walking past them multiple times. She is wearing an open gray sweater with an orange shirt.
Continuity mistake: RJ got into his van and drove parallel to the house, almost reaching the end (right side) of the house when he saw Pearl in front of him and stopped. When RJ got out of his van, it was parked near the beginning (left side) of the house that he had already driven past. Also, Pearl was standing in front of a fence, so it didn't make sense that RJ would be driving straight toward a dead-end. (00:57:07)
Continuity mistake: The instructions Evelyn is given had two copies created for the film - the handwriting and circling of the numbers change between shots when she's reading them in the IRS office. Notably the first time we see the instructions it says "don't forget to breath" at the bottom, then later that's changed to "breathe" as it should be. Although interestingly that change is the only one on that version of the notes, implying someone caught the grammatical error during filming and added the "E."
Continuity mistake: When Natasha joined Jimmy at the table in the restaurant, there was a plastic bottle of ketchup to the right of their drinks. When the waitress came to their table, the bottle of ketchup was gone. A napkin holder, previously barely visible, was now between their drinks. A little later, there were two small (individual serving) containers of ketchup in front of the napkin holder. (00:07:06 - 00:08:50)
Continuity mistake: Before Eamon hung his jacket and hat on the nails, there were three nails close together near the right side of the board. When he was hanging his jacket and hat, there were only two nails, which appeared to have more distance between them. When the camera shifted, there were a couple nails protruding to the left of the hat. The single nail that was on the far left side of the board turned into two nails. (00:04:38)
Continuity mistake: The amount of wine in Annie's glass (as well as Nic's) decreases then increases without her adding any. Annie had almost one-half a glass of wine when she poured some into Nic's glass, then it was closer to one-fourth full. A little later, Annie's glass appeared to have the amount she initially had when she approached Nic. (00:13:59)
Continuity mistake: Gabby's head is turned to her left. She turns to her right, but she is instantly back to her head turned to her left, as if she never turned her head. (01:22:57)
Continuity mistake: Henry's scarf is hanging down loosely and appears to be pinned together near the bottom (by his chest). While Henry is running outside, his scarf goes from loose around the front to having an obvious knot over his right shoulder. (00:02:16 - 00:02:43)
Continuity mistake: There are two stand-up picture frames on the table. Judy knocks over one picture frame as she walks towards and points mace at Burton. Judy continues holding the mace in her right hand and purse in her left and does not bend over to upright the frame. When Judy leaves, the picture frame is upright and roughly parallel to the other frame. (00:25:45 - 00:27:20)
Continuity mistake: The first time Tess tries to open the lockbox with the key inside when she gets to the house, the way she is touching/holding it changes between cuts. Specifically, she goes from only having one hand on it to both hands.
Continuity mistake: When Private Connors got out of the front passenger side of the truck, there were no orange "cones" visible in front of the truck, but there was a toppled one after a camera shift that should have been visible earlier. Also, there was a toppled orange cone and an upright one behind the truck, which were not there when the truck was approaching that spot on the road (and would have smashed both had they been there when driving through that section of the road). Continuity mistake: Diana's fingers are in a different position on the phone between close-up and wider angle when she realises that Chin crept back in the kitchen as she was trying to speak with the headmistress. (00:32:30)
Continuity mistake: The champagne bottle was behind some candles on the table, but in front of them and in the corner of the table when Danny picked it up. The number and arrangement of the (CGI) candles also varied with close-up versus more distant views. (00:04:42)
Continuity mistake: In the bar scene after Padraic tries the "new tactic" on Colm, in some shots of the scene you can see 4 pint glasses on the table (three empty and one full for Colm), and in other shots there are 5 (three empty, one full and one half full). (01:20:47)
Continuity mistake: The time of day changes multiple times during the first half of the movie. When Danny is talking to Papi, Papi is outside and the sun is in the west indicating late day. In Danny's angle the sun is right overhead. There are multiple times when it is full on overcast in one angle and cloudless blue sky in the next.
