Continuity mistake: During family dinner, Sam's girlfriend is cutting the meat, while Sam's father says it's OK for the boy to stop making movies. A shot later, the girl is suddenly drinking from a glass.
Continuity mistake: The monkey figurines (or charms) on the beads hanging from the rearview mirror change positions from being more horizontal (side-by-side) to vertical (one below the other, and at different distances). Swaying from the SUV's movement might explain some change, but the weight of the monkeys should have kept their positions more balanced (side-by-side or one at the top and the other at the bottom). Continuity mistake: When Joey is talking to Voight about the puzzle box and Voight tells him to "Keep going," pay attention. It's kind of hard to notice, but if you look closely, in the over-the-shoulder shot facing Joey, you can tell that Voight is standing straight, facing Joey before it cuts. When it cuts to the opposite angle, suddenly Voight's body has rotated about 90° (to his right).
Continuity mistake: During the time Sean and Kunle are talking to Bianca after class, Sean is wearing two gold necklaces but only the longer one is showing a few times. (00:04:30 - 00:05:41)
Continuity mistake: When the roasted marshmallow landed on the back of the camper's head, it was relatively flat and spanned from the middle top to the right top/side with some charred marshmallow splattered almost to the center of the man's head. After a camera shift, the marshmallow was sticking up near the right top of the man's head, was shaped like a whole marshmallow, and was still largely white instead of mostly black/charred. Continuity mistake: The orange feather toy that was in the cat bed with the cat when Sam got to the bookstore was not there a couple camera shifts later. (00:25:33 - 00:26:25)
Continuity mistake: Riley puts the red hard-covered book and two others into the box, but puts the same books into the box when Gabby starts to help. (00:13:35)
Continuity mistake: At various points throughout the movie, the position of the lamp on the end table (to Charlie's left where he usually sits on the couch) changes, from the base being in the back corner, to mid-way along the chair's arm, to being centered along the rear edge, to near the middle of the table, etc. As the lamp's position changes, the other objects on the table also change. Suggested correction: "At various points throughout the movie" so he moved his lamp. If the shots aren't consecutive (screenshot, please) this is not a continuity error.
Continuity mistake: At the top of the stairs during the wedding party, Bouc makes a comment about adenoids and flat feet while Gal Gadot waves at the guests and her husband with a theatrical gesture puts her hand under his arm. The same gesture repeats in the next shot as we see the pain of doctor Windlesham. (00:22:45)
Continuity mistake: When Samantha leaves the room to answer the phone, some of Lester's bangs are down across the left side of his forehead, in opposition to his left-sided part. When Samantha returns, Lester's bangs are parted to the right with hair dangling on the right side of his forehead, which Lester cannot move with his hands zip-tied to the chair or by shaking his head. Continuity mistake: At the start of the movie when the guys are arguing on the porch the guy on the ground suddenly appears to be off the porch in the next shot on the ground.
Continuity mistake: The position of Esther's bag on her bed changed, going from a few inches away from the foot of the bed to one corner of the bag almost touching the end of the bed. (00:29:30)
Continuity mistake: In the wide view of "Quick Stop Groceries," there is a yellow pole directly in front of and almost touching the far right side of the van's front bumper, but the pole isn't there in the rear view of the van. (00:01:43)
Continuity mistake: The top of Brecken's head was close to (within a few inches of) the headboard before his mother brought the pillow. When his mother put the pillow over his face and the camera shifted to a right-side rear view, the upper part of the bed was raised about 45°. When Lang Dotrice (Brecken's father) arrived and sat on his bed, the pillow used to smother Brecken was at least a foot away from the headboard and Brecken's head (still under the pillow) was about a yard away from the headboard. Continuity mistake: After the teens parked their vehicles facing an embankment (which was about twice as high as the vehicles' roofs), they walked up the hill to the diner (which wasn't visible). Somehow, one of the teens sitting in the diner was able to see James' SUV being stolen, so they ran outside and down the embankment. The vehicles should not have been visible from inside the diner plus the embankment looked different (e.g, varying heights). (00:07:26 - 00:12:24)
Continuity mistake: Honor's laptop is on the bed, behind her back, with the screen lit. It automatically goes into timeout. Honor doesn't move from where she is sitting on the bed or turn around, but the screen is lit again (display is showing) without her waking it up. (00:51:35 - 00:53:26)
Continuity mistake: The straws in the three glasses in front of Abby are at different angles several times. (00:10:55)
Continuity mistake: Travis rearranged a photo on the desk, setting it partially in front of the box and the two pictures were a few inches apart. The next wide view showed the corner of the picture almost aligned with the box or slightly behind it and the two pictures were now almost touching. The angles and locations of the photos changed more than once. (00:09:40 - 00:10:03)
Continuity mistake: The man trips, and the three coconuts he is holding land in front of him, inches from his fingers. He crawls a short distance. Only one coconut is visible, and it is to his left. The dinosaur drags the man away. The coconuts are in different places, even though the dinosaur's attack does not scatter them. (00:02:25)
Continuity mistake: After Ross is shot, he lies on the pavement with his head to the left of the white line, but later his head is to the right of the white line. (His body would not be rotated 180° by police.) His head is on the white line in between this discrepancy. (00:06:38 - 00:09:30)
