Correction: Raj is whispering to the other two so Penny doesn't hear him.

MasterOfAll

He's not whispering and when he does whisper in front of Penny he covers his mouth.

Corrected entry: Rasputia's hair can change length and colour several times in a day. Mainly from a short blonde afro to long brown hair. (00:45:05 - 00:46:30)

Correction: Her natural hair is short. She wears multiple wigs to change her hair.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: At the start, Josh deals everyone a single card and is stopped and told to deal to the left. Camera cuts to another angle and everyone has 5 cards in their hands. (00:06:10)

Ssiscool

Correction: It's a montage of everything that happens in the game over several hands. It's not meant to be one shot.

Greg Dwyer

Corrected entry: On the map Gregory has of the camp, the compass has the points labeled wrong. South and East are the wrong way round. (00:44:40)

Ssiscool

Correction: The map was drawn by a kid, showing that even though Gregory acts smart, he's still a kid who doesn't know which ways South and East are.

Minions (2015)

Correction: If you're referring to one of the billboard signs at the side of the road, two during the scene - one in the direction of NYC and one in the opposite direction. If you're referring to the hitchhiking Orlando cardboard sign, Kevin drops it onto the ground when he grabs Stuart and pushes him to the car.

Super Grover

Correction: The camera doesn't cut from Penny having two hands on the onion ring to just one hand. After Penny picks up the onion ring with two hands, the camera cuts to Raj squealing at her for a moment. She could have easily let go of the onion ring and put her hand down on her lap during this shot.

Casual Person

Show generally

Corrected entry: Several times throughout the show, Leonard makes reference to having sleep apnoea, a condition where the airways close up when you are asleep and you stop breathing for periods of time before your body's reflexes kick in and wake you up. However we also see him sleeping numerous times but he doesn't have any form of cpap (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine. This is vital for anyone who has sleep apnoea as it pumps air into the users airways via a nasal cannula or face mask to keep the airways open and stop the user from stopping breathing. Since sleep apnoea in the most extreme cases can cause death (depending on type of sleep apnoea) a cpap machine is vital and should be seen whenever we see Leonard sleeping or in bed.

Ssiscool

Correction: There is no mistake simply because he chooses not to use one (if he even owns one). There are individuals with sleep apnea who don't use them and just deal with waking up in the middle of the night. If Leonard says he has to use a CPAP machine every night and then is seen not using one at night, that could qualify as a mistake, but this isn't the case.

Correction: This is simply not true, I suffer from sleep apnoea, albeit a mild form, and have never used a cpap machine. I suggest learning the facts before posting on here.

Correction: Everyone seems to be missing the important point here: Sheldon. Remember how Sheldon acted when Leonard had to have the nose operation? Would Sheldon EVER let Leonard sleep without his CPAP mask knowing Leonard has sleep apnea? Would Sheldon EVER not know that Leonard has sleep apnea? Would Leonard ever allow himself to be caught without his mask on if he has sleep apnea, and he knows that Sheldon knows - keeping in mind we all know just how often Sheldon walks right in on Leonard in bed.

The Bat Jar Conjecture - S1-E13

Corrected entry: Sheldon is very particular about sitting in his spot and not allowing anyone else into his spot. We learn later on in the series that he has been this way since Leonard moved in. However at the very end of this episode, we see Leonard sat in Sheldon's spot and Sheldon sat in the arm chair. (00:19:00)

Ssiscool

Correction: At the start of the scene, Sheldon attempts to sit in his spot, but Leonard doesn't let him, because his Physics Bowl trophy is sitting there and then Leonard moves slightly onto Sheldon's spot to make fun of him using the trophy. Presumably, he is just sitting on the arm chair because Leonard wouldn't move and he is just sitting in that seat reluctantly.

Casual Person

Show generally

Corrected entry: Rita throws her wand down to earth and we see the red ball on the left hand side as it flashes. When the camera cuts out to show the ground falling away, the red part is now on the right.

Ssiscool

Correction: The staff is traveling a quarter million miles. I don't think a half turn is that unlikely. Even if it didn't turn, all that would have to happen is the viewpoint to switch from one side to the other.

Greg Dwyer

Show generally

Corrected entry: Throughout season 1 - 3 the rangers call upon the zords. We then see them all get into their zords. However, when they go for the megazord, we see the saber tooth tiger, Triceratops, Mastodon and T-Rex all combine and form "tank mode." We then see inside the cockpit of the megazord at this stage and all 5 rangers are present. They then switch to battle mode whereby the megazord stands up and the Pterodactyl comes in and joins together creating the shield on the megazord's chest. However, up until the pterodactyl joins the others, Kimberly shouldn't be in the main cockpit as we've seen her in her zord.

Ssiscool

Correction: The Pterodactyl zord sits on the shoulder section of the T-Rex, while in tank mode.

Correction: It's possible, and quite likely, that her Zord has some sort of autopilot. At the very least, that maneuver (which is identical every time) could easily be computerized.

Greg Dwyer

To a degree I agree with the statement above, however, we see Kimberly get into her Zord. How could she then, move to the main Megazord.

Ssiscool

Correction: There is a tunnel system built in so all the rangers can reach the main controls.

Yes there is a tunnel system but Kimberly is seen in her Zord before they merge. So how could she travel down the tunnel before her Zord joins the rest?

The Crow (1994)

Corrected entry: When Eric tackles Tin Tin in the alley, we see him connect with Tin Tin. The shot then changes and he's about 3 foot away from Tin Tin and connects again. (00:19:00)

Ssiscool

Correction: It's the same action shown again from a different angle, not a continuity error. This technique is used frequently with big climactic explosions too - we're not meant to assume an object exploded more than once. We're just seeing it happen multiple times.

Phixius

Which is the basis of a continuity mistake.

Ssiscool

Not always - trouble is with things like this they have to be judged on a case by case basis. Some repeated actions are sloppy editing, some are a directorial decision, so not even a "deliberate" mistake, they're just showing the same thing a couple of times for impact.

Friends (1994)

Correction: After Rachel gets her Chinese takeout delivery, when she heads to her room it's actually 20 seconds from the time she walks past the hallway to the time she reappears from the hallway. That's ample time to throw off shoes, a blouse and pants, then pull on sweats. Done in less time in dorms everywhere.

The Mist (2007)

Corrected entry: When the guys approach the pharmacy we see the open hours on the window the right way round. However they should be backwards as we are seeing them from in the shop and they should be legible to those walking outside the the shop. (01:17:15)

Ssiscool

Correction: If you watch closely, you'll notice that when the group approaches the pharmacy, the doors are already opened and propped outwards onto the sidewalk. What you're seeing are the words on the door through the plate glass window. If the doors were closed, the hours would indeed be seen backwards from the interior of the pharmacy as per normal.

I Give It a Year (2013)

Corrected entry: Simon Baker's character is over in London on business. He states at one point about staying in London for a short time. However, at the end, he is still in London despite having 4 months past.

Ssiscool

Correction: We know Guy (Baker) owns one of the factories in London, so he's not a mid-level employee who has to get back home after finishing his business. He also used to spend summers in London as a kid (so a couple months may be a short time to him). But he is also interested in pursuing Nat or Chloe, so he simply extends his trip.

Saw IV (2007)

Corrected entry: When Hoffman is talking to Rigg about it ending here, he walks in front of the camera. When he does, some of the filming equipment's shadow can be seen on Hoffman. (00:12:20)

Ssiscool

Correction: The shadow doesn't belong to filming equipment. It's from the apparatus that Kerry's corpse is hanging from. You can even see the apparatus itself on Hoffman's left as he walks toward the camera, though it might only be visible in widescreen format.

Phaneron

Corrected entry: When the boys are singing "What Would Brian Boitano Do?" Cartman says "Sh*t," but doesn't get shocked by the V-chip. Even though he is not on screen, he can be heard.

Ssiscool

Correction: Cartman doesn't sing the line "Brian Boitano doesn't take shit", and you distinctly hear him join in only after, with "from anybody", just like he didn't sing the line with "ass" in it.
