When Homer and Bart jump the gorge, the ambulance that crashed into the tree in "Bart the Daredevil" is still there, crashed in the tree.

The film was shipped to theaters under the fictional title "Yellow Harvest." This is a reference to "Blue Harvest," the fictional working title of Return of the Jedi.
