Continuity mistake: Victor slams the door to the electrical panel box on his left and its right side tilts, but - in an instant - it is upright and the electrical box to his right is tilted instead. Victor doesn't close the door to the box on his left, but it is suddenly closed. (00:38:40)
Revealing mistake: The "horse" in the stall on the left has to be fake. With the exception of a barely visible half-blink, it does not move the slightest when the girl (while handling the reins) walks around its head, and a couple of girls are touching (pretending to be removing) the saddle. Continuity mistake: The "action star dummy 'lil Kevin Hart" is in a different position on the chair each time it is shown. The dummy is slouched in various positions or upright, and the "FBI" lapel letters are partially or fully visible. Continuity mistake: When the older sister impales herself on the broom handle, her head changed from next to her little sister's hands, at the base, to halfway up the staff with almost a foot of distance between her head and her sister's hands.

Continuity mistake: The trees show through the front windows of the house largely have green leaves with subtle signs of starting to transition for autumn. Panning to the back windows, the trees have a distinct, more uniform orange tint (which cannot be attributed to the sun setting behind them). Continuity mistake: Andy is walking alongside a highway and is roughly between the "End Road Work" and "Speed Limit 55" signs. There is a tall, thin sign pole on the right-front side of the screen. Andy is almost at the pole when there is a cut to Bishop breaking into and searching a house. Continuity mistake: The cucumber half is facing in the opposite direction after the camera shift. The flesh is toward the right of the screen, then to the left. Continuity mistake: The remote-controlled truck heads towards a long, square-shaped wall (or landscape edging), about as high as the truck. As the truck gets closer, the wall becomes a partially buried long pipe. The truck more easily goes over the less-exposed round pipe. (00:07:38)

Continuity mistake: Bella sits on the couch, and the two metal purse strap buckles are atop the front and back sides of her left shoulder. In alternating views, the buckles are a couple of inches lower along the front of the strap. (00:05:07 - 00:05:33)
Factual error: The storm chasers are meeting by the road and you see the sign for I-90 East in the background several times. This movie takes place in and around Texas, yet the route that I-90 takes is nowhere remotely close to that far south.
