Deliberate mistake: Ryan was cooking venison (deer meat) in a pan over hot coals. He speared a piece with his knife and held it up for his young son, Billy, to take, which Billy did with his fingers. But did not get burned or show any signs that the meat was hot. Billy was even able to take a bite of the meat. The meat could not have cooled off that fast, even outdoors in jacket-wearing weather. Continuity mistake: The scenery view shots near the beginning of the movie apparently are not meant to represent the passage of time (such as "one year later"), so the various changes in foliage - from green leaves (Summer) to leafless trees (Winter) to orange leaves (Autumn) to green leaves (Summer) and back to Fall foliage - do not make sense. Factual error: In the film, Blackberry is shown being "raided" by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As a Canadian company with its headquarters in Canada, the SEC, by itself, has no jurisdiction to effectuate such a raid on the premises. In real life, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) brought the case against Blackberry co-CEO, Jim Balsillie.
Continuity mistake: When in the cyclone stadium scene, you can see two water people behind Gale. But later, a different water person is sitting next to the same water person on the right.
Other mistake: Trini gave up her powers to attend a world peace summit, so the Yellow Ranger should have been Aisha in this movie.
Suggested correction: It's in the title "Once and Always" and repeatedly said "once a ranger always a ranger." This is not a "mistake" of the movie. This movie is a one-off anniversary special. Not in complete line with the show's continuity. They did this with the original Mighty Morphin Power Ranger: The Movie as well. They have also historically done this with team-ups. Such as when Adam came back to be the Black Power Ranger. Same with Justin in In Space. Same with Jason most recently. Same with Tommy (RIP).
Despite that phrase, three of the original Rangers gave up their powers to attend a peace summit; we saw the powers leave their bodies and transfer to the new Rangers. The original poster is correct that those powers were lost to them, therefore, they should not have been able to morph. Jason is the exception since he was given the Gold Ranger power, that relinked him to the morphing grid.
Continuity mistake: When Greg (Joel Courtney) is taking photos/videos and meets Charlie, rear views show strands of his bangs dangling down the side of his right cheek, but front views show his hair neatly combed back. (00:05:52 - 00:06:15)

Continuity mistake: When Coriolanus and Sejanus are eating lunch at the Academy, Coriolanus' sandwiches switch positions several times, stacking and unstacking, and turning several times.
Continuity mistake: Kate reads and crumples Matt's letter into a ball. Kate sets it down to her left, and the wad is a flat sheet of paper. (00:38:05)
Other mistake: When Father Amorth takes the key from the caged corpse's stomach, it's obvious that nobody could have swallowed it in the first place.
