Character mistake: When Will finds April's lost copy of Jane Eyre, the book shop clerk reads the inscription written by April's dad and says it's a quote from the book. It's actually a quote from Bronte's poem Evening Solace.
Character mistake: In School Ties, when they are playing the football game, the coach calls the character of "Chesty Smith" (Affleck) "Benson" instead of "Smith".
Character mistake: After sleeping with Juan Antonio, Vicky returns to the library to study and do research. The narrator says that she cannot stop thinking about Javier, the actor's real first name, not the name of the character Juan Antonio.
Character mistake: When the mathletes advertise their poster on the desk it reads 3.14... then they make up numbers instead of following the actual number of pi. (00:01:00 - 00:03:00)
Character mistake: In the beginning when Karsh and Ileana take the twins Karsh says he'll take Apolla and Ileana says she will take Aretmis but Karsh has the twin with the moon amulet which is Alex, who is supposed to be Artemis and Ileana has the twin who has the sun amulet which is Camryn, who is supposed to be Apolla. Character mistake: Detective Spitzer went into Harper's dark/unlit house, saw his partner Greg on the floor, and then saw Alec standing in the kitchen. Without identifying himself, telling Alec to drop his weapon (pistol pointed toward the floor), or bothering to determine what happened, Detective Spitzky shoots Alec. (01:27:08)
Character mistake: Jack accuses Marion of being a mug punter because she bets on the lottery, despite the odds of winning of "14.5 million to 1." The odds of winning the lottery are in fact 13,992,000 to 1 - not much better, but at least a precise figure.
Character mistake: A newspaper is shown saying "Girls Body Found" as plural when it should be "Girl's Body Found" as a possessive.
Character mistake: Max back in London is referred to as Group Captain, but his RAF Rank shows him as a Squadron Leader.
Character mistake: In jail when they're all sitting down to eat, Paulie says "c'mon boys let's eat, Freddie, Vinnie let's go" The problem is the other guy's name is Johnny Dio, not Freddie.
Character mistake: When Curtin shoots Dobbs, the two shots are close together in time. When Curtin explains it he says that he was shot and falls. Then Dobbs shoots him again. This takes time but the shots were fired very quickly.
Character mistake: When Eli discusses with Sonny about draft picking she mentions that Tom Brady was picked by the #198 place in the draft but actually he picked by the #199 place in the NFL draft. (01:10:00 - 01:11:00)
Character mistake: During the game against the Cardinals in the playoffs, the announcer says that Averman passed to Guy who then scored. First, Guy does pass the puck back to Averman, but then he passes it to Banks who scores the second goal, propelling them to the playoffs.
Character mistake: Toward the end of the film, Detective Davis orders Captain McKenna to put his badge on the table. New York City police always refer to their "shields", not badges.
Character mistake: In the bathroom scene with the fat man tied up, Kevin answers his phone upside down.
Character mistake: Scene where they push the truck out of the mud; right after they drive away in the background you can see that the other side is flat grass. They never had to do all that.
Suggested correction: Trucks of that era were not equipped with limited slip, nor posi-traction differentials, so having their truck land in mud on the drive axle side of the differential resulted in exactly what's portrayed in the movie.
Character mistake: The newspaper headline quotes "parent's" death in a murder-suicide story. Should be "parents' deaths" as both have died. (We can forgive the newspaper not picking up on the fact they were killed by a government assassin).
Character mistake: While listening to the fixed record at the antique music instrument shop, Chris talks about 1800 instead of 1900. (00:30:45)
Character mistake: The police radio identifies the fugitives' car as a 1958 Cadillac, but it is a 1962.
Character mistake: When Amy goes to Virgil's house to apologize, Virgil tells Amy that the tree is exactly 14 steps away. However he then leads her there by taking 17 steps.
