Continuity mistake: At the end of the previous episode, Stewie gets on a cable car and sits next to older Stewie and they are facing out of the car. However, at the start of this episode, the seat they are sitting on is facing forwards.
Continuity mistake: When Carter destroys the bench after being the first contestant out of wining the old dirt bike, in the digger he backs off screen and you hear a crash and a car alarm, but when the shot is widened you see two cars where he backed into and both are undamaged.

Continuity mistake: Before the start of 'Christmas Time is Killing us', Brian and Stewie hold each other. However, in the very next shot, they are standing normally.

Continuity mistake: Meg drops Joe's gun into Bonnie's bag at the airport, but it's zipped closed - you hear the baggage check guy unzip it before looking in it.
One If By Clam, Two If By Sea - S3-E4
Continuity mistake: When Peter, Joe, Cleveland and Quagmire are in jail, Peter is the only one of them with a inmate number on his outfit. It's the same with the other inmates. Some have numbers and some don't.
Continuity mistake: Chris puts a video recorder in his room to try to capture the angry monkey in his closet to show Peter and Lois. He views the tape the next day and sees Peter and Quagmire enter his room. Quagmire punches Chris in the eye and bruises, it but when we see Chris the very next day, there's no black eye.
Audio problem: At the piano competition you see Peter playing towards the left side of the piano and hear the pitch going higher. This wrong because the keys for the high pitches are on the right side of the piano.

Continuity mistake: In one shot of the Griffins at the hotel, Brian's collar is yellow instead of red.
I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: During Lois' fight with Gloria Ironbox, Peter is wearing his usual white shirt and not his suit for one shot, then goes back to wearing his suit. (00:20:40 - 00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: Lois is wearing a green dress when peter is looking at her from the stage, but she's wearing a blue dress throughout the scene.
Continuity mistake: After the "Lint" scene, Meg's glasses disappear.
Revealing mistake: Einstein's eyes briefly pop out of his head during the Theory of Relativity scene.
Revealing mistake: Death's right foot disappears when he gets up after he says "You know, my ankle is starting to feel better." (00:21:15)
Revealing mistake: While Lois is unbuttoning her shirt, Death's feet and legs aren't visible on the couch, even though he is lying on it.
Continuity mistake: Stewie's overalls are missing during one of the shots of the Griffins at court.
Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
