Continuity mistake: When Leo walks into the club to show Karen his highschool yearbook, Grace is eating a bowl of bagel chips. In one shot the bowl is full, then suddenly empty, then full again. (00:17:30)
Continuity mistake: When Jack is telling Will and Karen what he was doing at the hospital, as he says "a little over the smock fondling..." Will begins to drink his wine, yet in the next shot, we can see in the mirror that he isn't. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: When Jack gets James Earl Jones on stage to perform, his glasses hanging around his neck go from folded, to unfolded then folded up again so he can unfold them and put them on. (00:12:40)
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Hershberg begins to cry about the bad news he delivered in the other room, he goes over to cry by the small table with items on it. During this part, the grey box sitting on the table keep opening, closing, moving etc. (00:04:50)
Continuity mistake: When James Earl Jones puts his hat down on the piano, he puts it upside down. But in a later shot, as he tells Jack that he's fired, we can see the hat is now the right way up, behind Karen. Later it's upside down again. (00:18:25 - 00:19:25)

Visible crew/equipment: After Grace shows Will possible reactions to give about the letter Dr. Morty wrote Leo, Jack walks out of his door and in this shot you can clearly see the tape marker at Grace's feet. (00:08:10)

Continuity mistake: When Will and Jack wake up to find themselves both in bed together naked, as they state that nothing happened, the quilt on the bed behind Will changes from neatly spread, to messed, to neat again. (00:02:00)

Continuity mistake: When Grace reads Dr. Morty's letter on Karen's boat (in the last episode of season 5) it sounds at least a few paragraphs in length. During this episode, when she holds the letter up there is only a short paragraph on the bordered side of the page, and nothing on the back side.
Heart Like a Wheelchair - S6-E6
Continuity mistake: After Will picks up Tom's bottle of handcream, after Marilyn tells Tom that his mothers partial fell out, the bottle changes position when Will puts it back down on the side. (00:13:15)
Continuity mistake: As Leo speaks with Diane (he's on the sofa; she's in a chair) she refills her wine glass until it is nearly full. In the next shot Diane takes the last sip of wine from her glass, and the following shot shows her glass nearly full again. (00:08:45)

Continuity mistake: When Karen is getting a boost on Lyle's shoulders to go through the window above the apartment door, she puts her right hand on his head, yet in the next shot her left hand is the one on his head. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: When Karen says "When Agassi was with Brooke Shields, his hair fell out and her show stayed on the air," Will is holding two plates. In the next shot he is holding three. (00:00:35)
Dames At Sea - S6-E1
Continuity mistake: When Grace puts her arm around Leo's shoulder after finding out that he has photos of her, the position and angle of the silver bands around her wrist changes. (00:13:20)
Revealing mistake: In reality Deborah Messing is pregnant but her character is definitely not, so Grace has been filmed lately hiding behind big purses, pillows, counter tops, coats, etc. For some reason in this episode there was some rather sloppy shooting where Grace's waistline is concerned: When she and Karen are first entering the cabin, right after Grace says the line '...driving past 20 churches...' she turns sideways and for a few seconds there is a clear shot of her advanced pregnancy. Additionally, when Grace and Karen go to bed (also in the cabin) they have Grace lying on her back so the pregnancy is quite obvious in that scene, too.
Strangers with Candice - S6-E9
Continuity mistake: When Will and Stephanie sit down to join Alex and Grace to order some dinner, the purse sitting on the table between Will and Stephanie - it's straps change from up/down between shots. (00:15:30)
Looking for Mr. Good Enough - S6-E14
Continuity mistake: When Will accuses Adam of being a hooker, Adam leaves the cooking class and grabs a coat from the door. In following shots, the coat has reappeared on the door. (00:17:45)

Continuity mistake: As Grace practices her reactions in the hallway in front of Will, her silver necklace changes position a few times. It also changes position a few times in various shots after. (00:08:00)

Continuity mistake: During the dinner scene at the start, the white napkin at Karen's placemat vanishes between shots. (00:01:25)
Continuity mistake: When Karen asks James Earl Jones is she can ride on his shoulders, we can see James' hat sitting on top of the piano. In the next shot it is suddenly back in James' hands, and he then puts it down again. (00:18:15)
Home Court Disadvantage - S6-E3
Continuity mistake: In the overhead shot of Grace, Leo, Karen and Beverly playing tennis, Leo is standing right back, on the white serving line. In the closeup he is now suddenly right by the net. (00:06:45)
Chosen answer: I'm not from New York so I can't speak for them, but in Chicago it has happened before. not very often though but I do recall it happening. I have also seen no tickets sold prior to the show at all, it was just first come first served the night of the show. That is very uncommon though.
