The Good Place (2016)

Trivia: Whenever the main characters are eating frozen yogurt, it's actually mashed potatoes, since real frozen yogurt would melt too quickly to film properly. Additionally, whenever Eleanor is eating shrimp, it's actually completely artificial since actress Kristen Bell is a vegetarian and didn't want to eat real shrimp. She referred to the artificial shrimp as painted "rubber nuggets."

The Good Place (2016)

Season 1 generally

Trivia: The cast were sworn to secrecy to not reveal the big twist at the end of season one. Reportedly, all the cast members were really good at keeping the secret... except Ted Danson, who couldn't help but give away the twist anytime he tried to explain the show to someone.

Candyman (2021)

Trivia: This film serves as a direct sequel to the original, and generally ignores the events of the two prior sequels, except for keeping the name "Daniel Robitaille," which was established in "Candyman 2: Farewell to the Flesh."

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Trivia: Doc Ock's tentacles had nicknames behind the scenes - Larry, Harry, Moe and Flo. The puppeteers also subtly tried to give each tentacle a distinct "personality," which you can notice if you watch their behavior closely. For example, "Flo" is the tentacle that most directly interacts with Ock. (Taking off his glasses, helping him take a drink, etc).

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Trivia: The first draft of the script involved Dana being kidnapped and taken to Scotland, where she'd discover an underground world of fairy-tale creatures, fairies, monsters and witches. The Ghostbusters would then have to travel to Scotland to save her. Dan Aykroyd has said that the script was simply "really too far out... too inaccessible."

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Trivia: A great deal of the film was changed after poor test-screenings. In the original cut, there's a scene where Ray is possessed by Vigo earlier in the film and dangerously drives the Ecto-1 through the streets. Eugene Levy also appeared as Louis' cousin who helps the Ghostbusters get out of the hospital. There was a sub-plot of Louis trying to catch Slimer but being comically out-witted every time. Several scenes were substantially longer. And the entire climax was completely different.

Child's Play 3 (1991)

Trivia: As is often the case, when the film was broadcast on cable, several deleted scenes were added back in to make the film fit a two-hour broadcast window. Perhaps most notably, the broadcast television version had an entirely different introduction to Andy and Tyler, who arrive at the military school via bus and talk during the ride in.

Child's Play 2 (1990)

Trivia: As is often the case, when the film was broadcast on cable, several deleted scenes were added back in to make the film fit a two-hour broadcast window. They are mainly short character-centric scenes. There are also some alternate takes to censor profanity. (Ex. Instead of Kyle flipping off Chucky, she instead says "Playtime's over!").

Child's Play 3 (1991)

Trivia: John Ritter originally was supposed to have a cameo as a security guard at the doll factory, but his part was written out of the film. He would have caught a group of kids sneaking into the abandoned factory because they heard the "urban legend" of Chucky the killer doll.

Child's Play 3 (1991)

Trivia: The film was notorious at the time of its video release as it was said to be one of the inspirations for the death of 2-year-old James Bulger, who was murdered by two 10-year-old boys. Supposedly, one of his killers had seen the film, and it was suggested that it partially inspired him. While investigators subsequently tossed out this theory and said there was no link between the film and the murder, several European television networks refused to air the film due to the controversy.

Rings (2017)

Trivia: The film's twist ending - the meaning of the mark on Julia's hand - was surprisingly spoiled in several of the trailers, which featured an unused line of the character Galen Burke directly and blatantly explaining that the mark means "rebirth." This line of dialogue is not in the finished film, and the characters only discover the mark's meaning about 60 seconds before the movie ends.

Evolution (2001)

Trivia: Just a cute background detail: At the beginning of the film, a character briefly mentions that she wants to be "Miss Arizona." If you look closely at the background at the end of the film, you can see her standing around with a "Miss Arizona" sash on. Evidently she made it.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Trivia: The first film was shot in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio. However, they decided to shoot this sequel in the wider 2.35:1. Reportedly, the reason for the change was that director Sam Raimi felt that it would be better to accommodate Doc Ock's tentacles with the wider frame.
