Checkmate - S2-E19

Continuity mistake: In Season 2, Episode 19 ("Checkmate"): Detectives Torres and Moreno respond to a radio call reporting gunfire at 300 East 85th Street, which they acknowledge. We then see the suspect exit the building and escape in a car, and the detectives run unto the same building a few seconds later. The building number however is 237, not 300. (00:33:35)

Continuity mistake: When the man gets out of the car at the gas station, he opens the gas cap lid and unscrews the cap. He then starts arguing with the gas station attendant and chases him into the office. Another man runs into the car to steal it, but the gas cap lid is now completely closed. (00:15:05)

Continuity mistake: Ray Lester is sitting at a table wearing a white hoodie, chatting with his mother and Detective Valens. Ray's empty right hand is lying on the table, with a closed bottle of water on the floor beside his chair. It cuts for exactly 2 seconds to Detective Rush signaling Valens to bring the mom into the next room. When it turns back to the three, Ray Lester is now holding the open Poland Spring water bottle in his right hand, on the table. Much too quick to lift and open in 2 seconds. (00:28:03)

Continuity mistake: Nicky is calling Miguel late at night on an iPhone 12 to his ear with the smartphone camera visible in the upper left. After Miguel picks up and acknowledges Nicky, the scene pans back to Nicky, who is now holding and speaking into his iPhone upside down. (00:56:15)

Continuity mistake: As Lucy gets up from her airplane seat holding the big hunk of cheese wrapped in a blanket she is masking as a baby, it bends in half as if it were already cut. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Detective Munch visits the hospital room of a young comatose girl for the first time, the girl's left arm is alongside her body above the top sheet. As Munch approaches the bed, her arm is below the top sheet. When Munch visits the still-comatose girl a second time in the last scene of the episode, in the foreground as he is entering the room the girl's head is turned, facing her right. As he pauses to watch her, in the next shot she is now facing upright towards the ceiling. In this same shot, the purportedly still-comatose girl slightly moves her head and lips as if swallowing.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Stan stops by the house to have Dorothy help him tie the bow tie of his tuxedo, the undone tie is hung around his neck. After Dorothy finishes tying the bow tie and Stan proceeds to leave, she stops him to tell him to return in an hour. He excitedly turns around towards her, at which point we can see that the bow tie is now a clip-on. (00:18:55 - 00:20:55)
