Corrected entry: If all the villains in this film are protected by diplomatic immunity, why is the guy who tried to kill Joe Pesci in the hotel running from Riggs and Murtaugh when they find his house? They couldn't have done anything to him anyway.
Correction: It's quite natural to panic when two armed police officers who witnessed you commit a felony (like attempted murder) turn up at your house looking for you. He was not thinking about immunity, he just wanted to get away from them.

Robocop 2 (1990)
Corrected entry: In the future, Detroit is this absolute hellhole where crime is rampant, police are on strike, all areas are somewhat dangerous and even boy scouts have turned criminal, but when Murphy drives past his former wife's house (presumably in Detroit) near the beginning, the area is nice and tranquil where the kids casually ride bikes up and down and no one even has bars on their windows. Also given the amount of crime in Detroit, why does OCP even care about Robocop's prying behaviour?.
Correction: To answer the first mistake, it could be a gated community with security. To answer the second mistake, he was trying to bring up his old memories - if he became Officer Murphy again, he would cease to be RoboCop, hence no longer under OCP's control.

Corrected entry: How could Murphy possibly regain his memory?. He was shot between the eyes at point blank range. He wouldn't have had much a brain left to regain his memory. Impossible to believe.
Correction: He wasn't shot between the eyes. He was shot on the right hand side of his head, as can be seen in the hospital scene where they try to revive him, and the scar on his head as Robocop, only causing a small amount of brain damage. On top of that he only has about 3 memories which are triggered by familiar surroundings and dreams. No one fully understands how memories work/are stored.
While it did change his personality somewhat, Phineas Gage suffered much the same severity of head injury that Murphy did, his memory survived fine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phineas_Gage.

Corrected entry: Why didn't Frank's men attempt to outbid Harmonica when he successfully made the $5,000 bid (using Cheyenne) for the railroad station? It's not like they didn't have the money, given that Frank tried to buy the property back off Harmonica later.
Correction: I suspect that they would've outbid him, if they had the right amount of money. That property would've gone for five hundred dollars if Harmonica hadn't walked in at the last moment. Harmonica was feeling the bid process to see how much money Frank gave them. Let's face it, if you gave those band of cutthroats an exorbitant amount of money, you would probably have to hunt them down and kill them later. Additionally, back in those days, I am sure they wanted cash on the barrel head after you won a bid in an auction. (Or proof of property that is worth that dollar amount.) I mean you couldn't just whip out a VISA card and charge it.

Corrected entry: I find it very strange that after Arnie's wife and child are murdered, he doesn't receive any real support from anyone. Not a friend, not a family member, nothing from the wife's family (who might be just a little upset at losing someone close) basically nothing. Unless this was the most hated family in the country, I simply find it hard to believe.
Correction: Gordy may have recieved phone calls from other family members, or even visits, but just wasn't interested. He probably turned them away, as he wanted to be on his own. As for his trip to Columbia, he most likely kept it to himself as much as he could.

Corrected entry: When the Griswolds are only ten hours away from Wally World, Ellen, Audrey and Rusty all vote that the Holiday has been a disaster and they should turn around and go home. But since they have virtually no money, how would they pay for gas and accommodation on the return trip?
Correction: Ellen later says something like,"We can wire my parents for the money and forget this vacation ever happened."

Correction: The same person who would unethically and unnecessarily administer electric shocks to a test subject in an attempt to impress a girl and make her think she is psychic.
I think what the person who submitted this mistake is saying is why would he need it or carry it at all. Peter was going on a date with Dana Barrett so he would have no need to take it with him at all.
I think what the person who submitted the correction was saying is he's a weirdo and a creep; that's why he brings drugs on a date.

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983)
Corrected entry: During the final celebration scene, Artoo is all fixed again, but who fixed him? We know from Part 5 that Han, Leia and Chewbacca had no idea how to fix droids (not forgetting the poor job Chewbacca did with Threepio). Threepio couldn't have because he didn't even know how to put his own leg back on in Part 5. The rebels who went with them were only trained as fighters and the Ewoks weren't intelligent enough. And Artoo was fixed when Lando arrived.
Correction: There's no evidence that the rebels who were part of the landing party aren't trained in other areas. They could be technicians. Or, Artoo could have been fixed with something as simple as a reset button. Also, there are lots of people at the celebration who weren't there when Artoo was shot, like Luke, Wedge, some Calimarians and pilots. It's possible that Luke fixed him, he is pretty handy with droids, like his dad. To sum up, there are lots of ways Artoo could have been fixed.

Corrected entry: When the parents are outside the restaurant arguing about what to do next, Steve Freeling says they should keep running. Diane responds with something like "Run where? it followed us here..it will follow us where ever we go". But the Evil Force did NOT follow them there. It was the ghost of Diane's mother warning them of bad things to come.
Correction: So the characters were mistaken, it's not a mistake in the movie.

Police Academy (1984)
Corrected entry: Cadets Blanks and Copeland have all their hair shorn off at the police barber because they think that it's like the army. When they discover that it wasn't necessary, both men look quite horrified. Yet over the whole course of training, which took about 12 or 14 weeks, their hair does not grow back even an inch. And it's quite unlikely that they decided to keep it that short since they seemed to like having hair.
Correction: IMHO, it is certainly possible that once they got used to the idea, that they liked it or at least decided to try it out for a while. Many men keep their crewcuts even after leaving the military even though they would never have had a crewcut before.
They were also trying to suck up to Lt. Harris, and he loved their haircuts. They could've kept them for him.

Corrected entry: When the stormtroopers enter the docking port where the Millenium Falcon is, they start firing. Despite the fact that there are 5 or 6 of them, not only can't they hit Han but there is no damage whatsoever to the Millenium Falcon. But Han, who only has a single gun, manages to destroy half the port.
Correction: The stormtroopers are trying to take out Han, since they know they won't be able to disable an entire ship with a small rifle, but Han is sheltered by the legs of the Falcon. Also, Han isn't shooting alone; Chewie is in the ship firing the small gun that comes out of the bottom of the Falcon (which "manages to destroy half the port").

Corrected entry: How did Frank get his Black Pontiac back? After his car rolled and he killed Harry Heck, we see him jump into Harry's car and drive off. A dead body and an upside down car in the middle of the street would have been quickly discovered and the damaged car would have been impounded. But at the end, we see Frank drive off in the pontiac.
Correction: It isn't the GTO...it was Harry Heck's car. If you look closely when he gets in you can see the green hood.

Corrected entry: At the end, Axel Foley checks out of the hotel at night which would have incurred an extra nights fee for late check out. Admittedly this didn't affect Axel as the police department was footing the bill but he may as well have just stayed the extra night. Also given the long drive ahead of him, why leave in the middle of the night?
Correction: This is just a disagreement with a perfectly reasonable decision made by a character. It is not a plot hole.

Corrected entry: After saving Willy from his damaged tank, Jesse and all the others spend the rest of the night and into the next morning, driving Willy to a dock where they can release him. Since Willy's tank was near the ocean anyway, why did they decide to drive so far (and risk both police action and Willy's possible death) when it could have taken them five minutes to drive down to the shore and release the whale there and then?
Correction: If you listen to the characters discussing Willy's release before they get him from the leaking tank they say "let's take the Old Forest Road, its the closest entrance and the least conspicuous" just because the ocean is close by it does not mean you can gain access to the water at every point! I imagine there would be limited places that you could back a truck and trailer carrying a whale into the water safely.

Corrected entry: When Marty leaves for the future at the beginning of Part II, Biff is in his red tracksuit about to wash their cars and Marty's black truck is in the garage. Then in Parts II and III, Marty and Doc make plenty of changes in the past and Doc staying in 1885 would greatly change things on Marty's return to 1985. But when Marty's returns to 1985 at the end of Part III, Biff is still in his red tracksuit about to wash the cars and the same black truck is still in the garage.

Corrected entry: Elizabeth Shue didn't reprise her role as Ali in this film. As a result, Daniel and Myagi are seen leaving the tournament at the beginning without Ali which quite frankly makes no sense whatsoever. There is no known reason why she wouldn't leave with them.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Corrected entry: The Zombies in this film can all run at fairly high speed. Running requires some intelligence (considering you have to concentrate and focus when you run). If they are clever enough to do this, I find it hard to believe that all they seem capable of doing the rest of the time is growling, acting dumb and munching on human flesh.
Correction: While there is a definite science to Olympic running, basic running is a fairly simple and largely instinctive action. Though it does take a sense of balance and coordination, most of this is governed by the cerebellum and brain stem, not the cerebrum that controls speech and "higher" brain functions. Besides, the zombies do have some memory of their lives and would recall how to run with muscle memory, the same way you remember how to ride a bike. It ain't rocket science, or even language.

Correction: It's not a realistic sequence. They're all singing and dancing and lots of things are going on. To underscore that it's not realistic, the car that Sandy and Danny are in FLIES at the end. Suspend your disbelief for a second and have some fun.
