Mistake Continuity: When Woody Harrelson finds the book of matches from the 'Griffon' (the boat his wife stayed on with Redford), the silver kettle in the kitchen shows a reflection of the cameraman wearing a green t-shirt.

Mistake Continuity: When Gage, David, Diana, and Gage's Assistant are meeting in the room, right before Diana and Gage go off for their "agreement", Gage enters the room and is buttoning the right side of the jacket down by his pants, then in a following shot, he is buttoning the same coat button.

Mistake Continuity: After Diana confronts Gage about buying their property, she returns home and begins washing dishes. There is a wide shot of the kitchen sink with a stack of dishes and three patterned glasses sitting beside it. Diana picks up the three glasses and puts them in the sink. She then puts on yellow gloves in a close up shot. In the following wide shot, not only have the three patterned glasses reappeared by the sink but there are now two additional clear glasses as well.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene at the restaurant where Diana pulls the table cloth of John's table, one of the other guests gets food all over his jacket, but in the subsequent clips the amount of white on the jacket changes significantly.

Mistake Factual error: At the end of the film Woody shows what a nice chap he is by spending the 'tainted' million dollars on a photograph at a charity auction. He's just made his problems ten times worse - he paid his solicitor $200,000 to arrange the deal so he hasn't got a million in the bank. That cheque is going to bounce so fast it will crack the plaster on the roof of the bank, and bouncing a million dollar cheque is a serious criminal offence in the US. (There is no way enough interest could have built up to cover the difference, either).

Mistake Continuity: When Woody has left Demi and lives in the garage with his dog, he is looking at old photos. He is looking at one photo. In the first shot, we see there's nothing on the back of the photo he's looking at, but then the angle changes, he turns the photo over, and there's now writing visible.

Mistake Continuity: When David and John are playing billiards, in one shot the purple and orange ball are next to a side pocket. In the next shot, both the orange and the purple are next to a corner pocket.

Mistake Continuity: At the Casino Robert Redford passes Demi Moore $100,000 of chips. In the next shot the chips have vanished. Then Demi Moore moves the chips forward as a bet.
