One guy with a video camera is saying something like "This is gonna be a hundred times better than 'Armageddon', I promise!". Of course referring to the movie 'Armageddon', a film also directed by Michael Bay. See more...

Updated recently Continuity: In the scene where the troop is flying in the heliocopter in the start of the movie, the guy on the right is not wearing sunglasses. When the scene cuts back to him, he is, then again it cuts away and back several times and you can see an indentation on the side of his head where the Oakley sunglasses were.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Scorponok is damaged by the 105-shells in Qatar, as the camera is moving behind the soldiers, you can see the camera shadow moving on the wall to the left of the screen.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Sam is talking to Mikaela's boyfriend, you can see the camera and crew reflected in the Hummers mirrors.

Mistake Factual error: Mikaela hot wires the tow truck by twisting two conveniently exposed and very long wires together. Allowing that this could work at all in a modern vehicle, it can't steer until the ignition lock is turned or removed, neither of which she does.

Mistake Continuity: During the final battle, Sam rolls on the pavement and reverses direction as a jet-bot lands and transforms. The next wide shot shows Sam scurrying alongside the passenger-side fender of a black Mercedes sedan as another black car is tumbling over the Mercedes' hood, its doors wide open. This same moment repeats in the next shot, from another angle, but suddenly Sam isn't at the fender of the Mercedes- he has vanished. The angle changes again and the same moment repeats a 3rd time, and Sam is still missing. Then, a closeup shot is looking up past Sam as mayhem rages above, and the black Mercedes he huddles against is suddenly a red car.

Mistake Revealing: When Sam flips over on the bike, in one shot you can see that it is a stuntman who looks much older than Sam.

Mistake Continuity: When Mikela hotwires the tow truck, it has an automatic gearshift. Later, when she is driving and Bumblebee is shooting, look closely, it's now a manual transmission.

Mistake Continuity: In the junkyard when Bumblebee is trying to get away form the "cop", after Bumblebee locks the doors with Sam and Mikaela inside, the windows continually change from being up and down.

Mistake Continuity: When Bumblebee "breaks down" on the side of the road, a book appears in Sam's hand that wasn't there before.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Sam and his friend head for the party at the lake, as they drive by the lake and the camera cranes up to show the lake, you can blatantly see the shadow of the camera on the crane moving up.

Mistake Revealing: At night, when Sam's car is running away by itself, you can see out of the windows that it was filmed in broad daylight.

Mistake Factual error: In the beginning scenes which take place in Qatar, you can see mountains all around in the background. Qatar is surrounded by desert, and has no mountains.

Mistake Continuity: During the final battle, Sam and Mikaela tie Bumblebee down to the truck. When Mikaela says, "No matter what happens, I'm really glad I got in that car with you," Bumblebee is gone.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Banachek and Simmons are talking to Sam at the entrance of the Hoover Dam, you can see the white lighting panels reflected in their sunglasses.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: During the opening shot of chapter 19 on the DVD the camera pans to the front of Optimus Prime. The camera truck/operator is reflected on the right side of the bumper.

Mistake Revealing: When Blackout is destroying the base in Qatar, a few Humvees get flipped over, and none of them have engines in them.

Mistake Continuity: When Banachek shows Secretary Kellar the photo of Blackout from Qatar, the photo is a photo taken of the transformer in the Beagle 2 video. It's not the photo Epps took of Blackout. You can tell because Blackout has a box-shaped body and the transformer in the photo has a slender body.

Mistake Revealing: In the final battle, Captain Lennox is going to shoot Blackout. He gets on a motorcycle, goes really fast, and then slides off the bike and down the street. While he is sliding, he shoots Blackout. When Lennox gets to his feet, you can see his back, and his shirt is not worn away at all. It isn't even discolored.

Mistake Continuity: In the battle scene with Frenzy in the dam, Agent Simmons uses a flamethrower to push Frenzy away a good distance from the door but in the next shot Frenzy is already halfway through the door.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": If you pay extremely close attention to the scene of all of the Deceptacons responding to the small Transformer's message regarding the location of the Allspark, notice that the shot of the police car and the fake helicopter pilot are duplicate shots used earlier in the film.
