Continuity mistake: When Arnold is crashing into the gun shop in the caterpillar you can see the camera to the rear (a black round one) and then also the camera at the front can be seen as a yellow box, attempting to be disguised as part of the engine block. These quickly disappear in subsequent shots. (00:51:40)
Continuity mistake: During the motel room fight scene when Cooke crashes into the other room, the door separating the rooms changes between shots. When he first crashes through the door it's just a wooden door with a large brass knob, but when he lands on the floor in the other room the door is now surrounded by a white frame and the knob is visibly smaller. Continuity mistake: After killing Henriques on the plane, Matrix asks the flight attendant how long the flight to Val Verdes is. When he asks her the question, her hand is on the curtain separating first class from economy, but in the next shot her arm is by her side when she answer's Matrix's question. (00:21:20)
Continuity mistake: In the dealership, Cooke never shifts the Cadillac into reverse, and yet instantly starts backing up after he says he likes "the price." The car would have had to be in Park or Neutral in order to be cranked up and would not start in gear. (00:02:50)
Continuity mistake: In the final fight scene Bennett opens a furnace door into John's face, knocking him to the ground. When he opened the door it was two half-doors that opened together, yet in the next shot when he rips the door off to throw at John, only the bottom half is still there.
Continuity mistake: When Matrix's daughter dirties him with ice cream, he turns his head to the left, yet in the opposite angle the head remains straight. (00:05:50)
Continuity mistake: When Matrix's daughter brings the sandwiches and he talks about Boy George, the magazine is sometimes on top of the sandwich or side by side to the dish. (00:07:45)
Continuity mistake: After Matrix's daughter puts ice cream on him, the ice cream on both him and her's changes from higher and lower positions between shots. (00:05:30)
Continuity mistake: During the initial credits, the amount of ice cream on Matrix's nose and lip decreases between frames. (00:05:30)
Continuity mistake: When the movie ends and Matrix is about to get in the hydroplane, the faded paint on his nose becomes much darker. (01:26:10)
Continuity mistake: When Matrix arrives to the beach in a rubber boat he has black swim pants on. When he jumps out, they are grey (far shot). When the camera switches back to close up, the pants are black again. (01:07:00)
Continuity mistake: After killing the guy in the watchtower, Matrix kills 2 more guys coming out of a door, plus 2 showing up from behind. The first of these two falls on the ground, but disappears a second later. (01:10:50)
Continuity mistake: When Cindy and Matrix park the car in the mall's lot, a woman behind the car disappears between shots. (00:31:35)
Continuity mistake: After Cindy says "I've known you for 5 minutes and I want you dead, too", there's a shot of Matrix's face and all the cars suddenly disappear, only to reappear a second later from a different angle. (00:30:40)
Continuity mistake: Matrix exits the marsh with his arms soaking wet. When he sets the watch, half a second later, the arm is dry. (00:25:00)
Continuity mistake: Matrix enters his home and a baddie holds a paper heart. The position of his hand differs between shots, notice the fingers on the second "D" and later on on the yellow paper. (00:13:30)
Continuity mistake: When Matrix is home covering his daughter, the soldier's thumb next to him is bloody in the close-up angle, but clean in the wide angle. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: At home, Matrix enters the shack and presses button 1. In the immediate close-up, his finger is missing the button. (00:12:55)
Continuity mistake: When Sully enters the parking lot there's a grey car on the exit ramp. Half a second later, when Cindy and Matrix follow, the car is already on the street, several metres ahead. (00:31:05)
Continuity mistake: Matrix's camouflage make-up changes style between shots (watch the thick line to the right side of the nose), furthermore, sometimes it's brilliant and shiny, others mat and dry, with no continuity at all. (01:07:25)
