Continuity: In the restaurant scene where the cigar dispute takes place, Bruce gets his fingers broken on his right hand. Later on in the movie, the two FBI agents encounter Bruce in his yellow Hummer. When he rolls down his window, his bandaged LEFT hand is shown.

Continuity: In the scene where Tim Allen is coming to get his son after the missed murder attempt, Allen enters the room and walks towards his son and stands next to him. The shot then cuts to Rene Russo. When the shot cuts back to Allen, he is again walking toward his son.

Revealing: About 30min into the movie, there is a scene at an airport with a 4-engined 707 freighter. As the characters walk behind the jet, you can see that the left-hand inboard engine pod has no engine on it, unlike the outboard pod. The aircraft is obviously being dismantled despite the appearance of having just landed.

Continuity: Several times throughout the movie, the sweat stains on Tom Sizemore's shirt either disappear, reappear, or grow larger or smaller all in the same scene.

Continuity: In the scene where Puggy is at the bar, the bartender gives Puggy his change, then in the next shot the money is gone, then it is back, then Snake takes the money.

Continuity: In the scene where the plane is in the air, the back stairs are down when the plane takes off. The camera zooms out showing the entire plane in the sky. You can see the back stairs are up. Next few scenes, stairs are down.

Continuity: When Snake sees Eliot in the airplane terminal, he shoots at him once, shattering only the top half of the glass door (which is split in two by a metal bar). Eliot then leaves the terminal heading outside. He ducks under the bar and through the door to go outside.

Continuity: When Stanley Tucci throws his wallet at the robber in the bar scene, the wallet hits the robber in the face, then hits his upper arm, then falls behind the robber. Yet, in the next shot, it has landed on the bomb case sitting in front of the robber. The same thing happens a few moments later when Tucci throws his keys at the robber.

Continuity: During the scene when they are on the airplane Tim Allen throws the suitcase off the stairs of the plane while the plane is in the air. Tom Sizemore, who is holding a gun, rolls off the plane after it. His hand grabs the suitcase and with the hand holding the gun is hangs onto one of the bars on the stairs. The camera changes to a shot of Tim Allen looking at Tom Sizemore and then the camera changes back to Tom Sizemore. If you look at his hand you can see that his whole hand is grasping the bar and there is no gun. The shot goes back to Tim Allen and then back to Tom Sizemore where the gun is back in his hands.

Other: In the scene where the fighter jets are following the plane with the bomb you can see the landing gear is down on both of the fighters. Fighter jets always raise their gear within seconds after takeoff.

Plot hole: When the pilot rolls the plane to dump the suitcase carrying the bomb, Snake grabs hold and falls out of the plane with it. Snake saves himself from falling to his death by grabbing the railing of the open door. The weight of the suitcase would have either ripped one of Snake's limbs off or would have ripped the railing from the door.

Factual error: On the first murder atempt on Arthur, when the assassin shoots, a bullet hole shows up in the door, and then the bullet goes through. It should in fact be the other way-with the bullet passing and then the hole appearing.

Factual error: When the dalmation and her new puppies are shown, the puppies are standing and their eyes are open. However, a new born puppy's eyes are sealed shut until they are at least 12 days old and they can only crawl on their bellies.

Factual error: Officers Romero and Kramitz are Miami police officers so they should have no jurisdiction in Arthur Herk's home. He lives in Coral Gables, a suburb of Miami and its own city.
