Continuity mistake: In the first WW2 flashback the protagonist is handing the various items to the Nazi doorman. When he puts down the pen, he is doing it with a left hand in the table close-up, but he picked it with his right, as the left arm is busy holding the coat. (00:02:05)
Continuity mistake: After crossing the first rapids, Humphrey Bogart's shirt appears to be mostly wet in the back. When he talks to Miss Sayer, it's the front of it soaking wet. (00:39:15)
Continuity mistake: Right at the beginning of the movie, the Sergeant pulls his jeep over and headbutts a prisoner who is carrying a Danish flag, seizing it. In the following shot he has his arms open and shoves away another prisoner, no flag in his hands. Next shot, he's standing by the bleeding prisoner, folded flag in hand. (00:02:25)
Visible crew/equipment: At the surrender of the fort, as the English are marching out, Monroe, says "The fort is yours, Monsieur." Right as he speaks, look between the two horses' heads. In the distant valley you can see what are either two tourist busses or perhaps mobile catering vans. (01:05:40)
Continuity mistake: In the start of the film Matthew McConaughey is sitting on a porch at a wedding reception smoking a cigar, in one shot he has a stub left then in the next it's a new one. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: When Roberta is being tortured by sinking her head in water, every time her head is sunk or raised, her hairstyle changes depending on the angle.
Factual error: The American soldier on the balcony is waving a 50 star flag. (01:30:06)
Revealing mistake: At the end of the scene with the destroyed bridge, when Oddball's Sherman drives away, Cowboy is nearly left behind and climbs onto the rear of the tank by standing on a box attached to the rear plating. The next time we see this tank from the rear, the box is gone. It was obviously there only to help Cowboy climb on. (01:29:00)
Continuity mistake: When Giosuè is hiding in the small cupboard Guido puts some flowers on top and some of the blossoms hang over the edge. In the next shot they are all lying on the cupboard, but when the camera angle changes they are hanging over again. (01:01:45)
Continuity mistake: When we first see Conti, there is a shot of a man shaving and the blade is up past his ear. As the shot changes, the blade is now under his ear. (00:06:00)
Factual error: In a picture from the UN headquarters in New York in the year 2003 you see two German flags. The German Democrativ Republic hasn't existed since 1990. (01:16:04)
Continuity mistake: When the two traitors ride away after seeing Hidetora at the top of the hill, Hidetora's left leg is exposed due to his kimono being blown by the wind. In the next shot of Hidetora, his left leg is suddenly covered. (01:41:15)
Continuity mistake: Mulan tricks her father into taking his medicine, and everyone has a laugh at him. Between shots she is pouring from the teapot first with the right, then the left, and one of the geezers sitting by is cackling with a different posture and hands switched as well. (00:05:10)
Visible crew/equipment: When the group of U.S. soldiers is going to a higher position (to attack Germans from the top), a camera and crew are visible on right side of the screen. (00:22:55)
Continuity mistake: During the knife fight at the end, the position of Lance's hands on the German officer is changing instantly. (01:14:50)
Continuity mistake: Just after Norman has been made to shoot the German, he lies on the floor with his face buried in his arms. Camera cuts and his position has changed and you can now see his face. (00:39:20)
Revealing mistake: During the first major Zulu attack, a warrior leaps down from the rampart and faces a British soldier (near the bottom right of the screen). The soldier lunges with his rifle and it's all too visible that his bayonet stabs to the side of the Zulu's chest.
