Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie during the skateboard scene with Shaggy and Scooby riding along the conveyor belt, Scooby grabs a hook and both Shaggy and Scooby jump off of the skateboard. You see the skateboard falling off the conveyor belt, but in the next scene it is on the conveyor belt and being crushed. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: When Bridget is getting dressed for her big date with Daniel, her tights are over her undies; later, when he's going up her skirt, the tights are clearly under her big ugly undies. (00:17:50 - 00:26:00)
Continuity mistake: During Marty's drive to the bogus address, when he is done speaking with Monty, just as he says, "Wolf out!" he pulls the phone wire and the earpiece actually pops out of his ear, but in all of the following shots that earpiece is still in his ear. Since the super-glued earpiece is one of the main plot points, this is bizarre to say the least. (00:44:25)
Continuity mistake: When the house first becomes detaches from its foundation and becomes airborne, Russell is nowhere to be seen, although every angle of the house is shown, including underneath, the front porch and the back porch. He knocks on the door and tells Carl he chased a "snipe" under the porch - but he cannot be seen after liftoff and prior to knocking. The same thing happens near the end, when Dug claims to have hidden under the porch.
Continuity mistake: In the very last scene of the movie where Chris O'Donnell and Renee Zellweger are on the terrace taking their vows, Renee is holding a bouquet. In one shot it is a bouquet of pink flowers, then it changes to a bouquet of yellow flowers and keeps switching back and forth throughout the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Akeem and Semmi get their apartment, the landlord says that the room has only one window facing a brick wall. But when Akeem is out on the fire escape, he yells out to a street, not a wall. And there are two windows.
Continuity mistake: When Tom is holding the glass oil lamp (start of Michael Jackson scene), the glass is first clear, then darkened black by smoke, then clear again. (00:46:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene just before Miss Piggy and Eileen get fired from the department store, Miss Piggy is watching Kermit and Jenny hug. She then bends a metal pole in half and starts hitting a barrel with it. When she first starts hitting it, the pole she is hitting it with is very thick(much thicker than the one she bent in half), is a different colour and not bent in any way. In the next shot the pole is thinner,longer and looks like the one she originally had, but it is only bent at the top whereas Miss Piggy bent it in the middle. In the next shot of her after that, the pole is now thicker (but not as thick as the first one), is not bent and the colour has changed again. Also if you look around the area where Miss Piggy is, there is only one type of pole lying around, so where did the other two come from? (00:30:15)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie when the Angels are rescuing the US Marshall, Lucy Liu is wearing stiletto heeled boots. When they jump out of the window, the heels are square. (00:01:30 - 00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: When Jo's mother and father are in the garden at Jack's house, she gets in her car with curly hair. The next scene shows her driving her car with straight hair.
Continuity mistake: When Jessica appears on stage, Eddie has Betty Boop standing next to him in all close-up shots, except for a wide shot of the public behind Jessica where Boop is missing. (00:18:15 - 00:19:05)
Continuity mistake: When Felix looks out at the Anfield pitch you can see executive boxes on the opposite stand. He is meant to be in an executive box but can't be, as only one stand at Anfield has boxes. (01:16:20)
Continuity mistake: When Stanley is in jail, he put toilet papers on the toilet seat. But a few seconds later the toilet paper is not on the toilet. (01:10:35 - 01:13:10)
Continuity mistake: When Elle decides to quit law school and goes to see Paulette at the nail salon, when she arrives she's crying and her face is wet with tears. In the next camera angle (2 seconds later) her face is completely dry and her makeup is normal.
Continuity mistake: When Carter and Zhang Ziyi are fighting, Carter is wearing alligator skin shoes (brown). However, when Ziyi thrusts the sword at Carter and Carter falls back on a chair raising his feet, you see him wearing black running shoes with a white sole.
Continuity mistake: At the end of National Treasure 1, Riley has a Ferrari 360 Spider. At the beginning of Book of Secrets, when his car is being towed away, it's a Ferrari F430 Spider. At the end of the movie, he is given back a 360 Spider.
Continuity mistake: When Troy is in the locker room with his teammates, Chad is handed the framed photo of Troy's father and there's a white sticker on the back of the frame. In the next shot, when Chad gives the frame to Troy, the sticker is gone. (00:58:50)
Continuity mistake: Truly crashes into the pond three times: first when the kids are playing in the road and she takes them home, second on the day of the picnic when she says she has nothing else to do and will go on the picnic too, and third at the end of the film when Potts finds out he is rich. In the second of these three, when Mr. Potts carries Truly from her car in the pond, the end of the ribbons on the back of her dress gets soaked in mud, but when you see her again at the beach there is no sign of the dirt.
Continuity mistake: When everyone is in the Library, you can see the matches in a cup on the left of the fireplace. When Professor Plum says, "Wait a minute, suppose that one of us is the murderer," you can also see that the matches are in a "V" shape. When Wadsworth walks towards them to pull the matches out, most of them are all leaning to the left side of the cup. As the movie goes on, when the cop gets locked up in the Library for the second time, the same amount of matches are in the holding cup as if Wadsworth did not pull them out and they are in a straight line. Continuity mistake: Gamble and Hoitz get thrown to the ground when the accounting office explodes. In an overhead shot of them rolling around on the ground, Gamble's wooden gun has fallen from its holster and is lying on the ground. Cut to a side shot and the gun is back in its holster. Gamble had both hands covering his ears the whole time, he did not pick up the gun. Then comes another overhead shot, the wooden gun is again missing from the holster. (00:48:45)
