Revealing mistake: At the party where Inspector Gadget lights a cigar for Scolex, he uses his thumb which flips open to reveal a flame. When they cut to the close-up of Scolex getting the cigar lit, you can see that there is a hand holding up a traditional lighter, and not Inspector Gadget's thumb any more.
Revealing mistake: When the Japanese tanks are firing upon Godzilla, one of the pyro effects catches the Godzilla suit on fire (at the arm). One can see the stunt man begin to frantically shake his arm upon this realization before the editing cuts to another shot.
Revealing mistake: During Bartleby's "Prepare to taste God's wrath" diatribe, you can clearly see the seam along the front of his shirt that he uses to tear his shirt open revealing his armour. This seam is not seen at any other point in the movie.
Revealing mistake: When all four of the guys are driving the Volvo through Detroit, if you watch real close, sometimes you can see 1980's and 90's vehicles parked on the side of the roads. Especially when they show a long shot with an older mustang following them, there is what looks like (it's hard to tell) a newer Buick or Chrysler (like the 300m) on the left side of the screen.
Revealing mistake: When Plunkett and Macleane emerge from prison they walk through a gap between a woman cooking and a circle of people around some men fighting, Macleane first, followed by Plunkett. As Plunkett passes through the gap he kicks a basket over and a blue gas cylinder with an orange pipe rolls out from underneath.
Revealing mistake: In several scenes (e.g. in the deli & in the tunnel, at the end) the ice cubes used to cool Elvis down are obviously not real ice.
Revealing mistake: When they find the paper map sticking out the Iraqi soldier's bottom it is neatly rolled up and straight. One should imagine it being quite crumpled after having spent some time in this particular hiding place. (00:08:00)
Revealing mistake: During the final battle, Buliwyf's dog mauls a Wendol warrior. As he does so you can see the obviously rubber bear's tooth on his headress bend as the dog's head catches it.
Revealing mistake: When Imhotep transports Evie, Beni and himself back to Hamunaptra, Evie hears the plane and looks up. Before she states "O'Connell," you can see the letters and numbers on the side of the plane are backwards, like a mirror image - it says "B5538" backwards, which resembles "BE228" (no mirror). Revealing mistake: Part of the control panel for the hypersleep pods is just a flat flashlight (I used to own one, I think it was made by Polaroid) with the manufacturer's name covered over. When the panel is being used, the flashlight's button is pushed and it turns on.
Revealing mistake: As Lawrence III walks up the stairs to his console, he clips through them in the process. (00:01:43)
Revealing mistake: When the toys are watching Woody being stolen the games machine on top of the TV doesn't have its controllers plugged in, but Rex was playing earlier with a wire coming out of his controller, which clearly wasn't actually connected to anything.
