Visible crew/equipment: A boom microphone is reflected in Luke's goggles when he says "Hey, what's the matter? You smell something?"
Factual error: Listening to a radio broadcast, live, since no other indication is given, Joe Louis is completing the 12th round of a fight. This is December 6, 1941. Joe's last fight of 1941 occurred in September, his next fight was January 1942. (00:00:10)
Visible crew/equipment: In the opening scene you see an old ship in the water, if you look closely you can also see the shadow of the helicopter that is filming the scene.
Revealing mistake: In Houston, when a man is thrown through a truck, notice the ground he falls on: The sand is leveled higher than the rest of the road around, obviously to hide a landing mat. Furthermore, after the fall the man turns around and he's got a bulgy square on the back to help for a safe stunt.
Other mistake: At the end of the movie where they are looking at the headstone of Jake Hobart, the date on the bottom of the stone is April 3 1913, despite dying shortly before the Titanic sank in 1912.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene in which it is raining quite heavily and Em and Richard are inside the hutch. Richard is playing Pop Goes The Weasel over and over which annoys Em. She stabs him in the foot and he chases her outside. In this scene she is wearing a strapless dress but when he catches her and pins her down on the sand she is wearing a lacey jacket (she didn't have time to change) and there are no clouds or rain. The sand doesn't seem to be very wet either, despite the fact that it was raining heavily a few minutes ago. (00:41:10)
Continuity mistake: The egg timer in the jail is about to run out, but when Dale runs over to it and tries to turn it over, there is more sand in it than before.
Revealing mistake: When Tony is having his first fight in the embassy, it is obvious that most of his punches do not connect at all. The people he supposedly hit still react as though being hit, and the sound effects of a fist hitting a jaw are still there, even if Tony misses by several inches.
Audio problem: When Benson is dismantling Hector and putting his brain in the container, he says 'What you can't stand, you run from,' but his lips don't match what he says. (00:48:50)
Continuity mistake: In the bullfighting scene Herbie's driver-side running board is dented upward in the middle, but in the following scene it isn't there.
Revealing mistake: The cannibals kill Faye, and then decapitate her. Then one of the natives lifts her head up, only to let the wig slide off of the fake head, and reveal a yellow foam head underneath.
Plot hole: Antoinette Lilly makes headlines as being murdered and her husband is charged and sent to a criminal asylum...despite the fact that no body has been found and no one has even bothered to go to the hotel or town she was last at to investigate whether or not she's alive or dead. Not believable.
Suggested correction: John was framed by Antoinette's step-mother (who stood to gain Antoinette's inheritance). People have been arrested for murder without a body being discovered first though. Additionally, we find out that the lawyer who helped framed John also paid him to confess to the crime and admitted to being mentally unstable. So nobody was even trying to look for Antoinette.
Continuity mistake: When Gort is fixing the wheel on the man's wagon there are brown leaves stuck to it. When the shot changes to behind Gort the leaves have suddenly vanished. (00:31:45)
Visible crew/equipment: When the survivors of the cruise liner sinking approach the ominous ship, it's supposed to be deserted, but as a window opens, a person's arm holding a stick to open the window is visible.
