Mistakes

Beast Boy is drawn onto the stage for a plate-juggling number. We see Mumbo balancing three plates (excluding Beast Boy) with his hands and left foot. But (again excluding Beast Boy), it's four plates getting smashed on the stage. See more...

Entry Notice something about the shoe soles of various characters in the series? They tend to resemble either the respective heraldic signs or what their wearers stand for. Beast Boy, for instance, has paw prints for a profile; Billy Numerous and Kid Flash wear their symbols on their soles.
Entry X-X "The Lost Episode": Character cameos: In the concerto audience you can find Mad Mod, Slade's former butler and the former HIVE headmistress. Also, the conductor appears to be Mumbo in his non-sorcerous form ("The Sum Of His Parts").

The Sum of His Parts (series 1)

Entry Cyborg's meeting with the boy with the hand prosthesis is a subtle hint on how Cy from the comic series would first meet the most important woman in his life: Sarah Simms.

Fractured (series 2)

Updated recently The title song for this episode was sung by Puffy AmiYumi producer Toshiro Kai. The passing of Larry on the bike is also reminiscent of the title sequence of each episode from the 60s Batman series, where Yvonne Craig guest-starred as Batgirl.

Date With Destiny (series 2)

Entry When Starfire jumps in front of the monitor, yelling at Kitten, in a "semi-chibi" form, if you look closely, you can see that her breasts jiggle up and down. There is even a bouncy sound effect for it. This is the only time that Starfire's (or any female character's) breasts move in the entire show.

Every Dog Has His Day (series 2)

Entry The sports car owner crying about his missing rear bumper, which Soto's dog has gulped up, is a cartoon version of series director Ciro Nieli. He has another cameo as an online nerd in fifth season's "For Real".

The Beast Within (series 3)

Entry When Beast Boy flips through the channels, we can catch a short glimpse of a car company advertisement which uses Adonis' logo; and if you look closely, you can see that several parts of the car on offer match parts on Adonis' battlesuit. My guess is that Adonis must have some connection to the car manufacturer in question and uses the production facilities and spare car parts to build his armor.

Revolution (series 3)

Entry Many greetings from the famous English comedian troupe Monty Python can be found in this episode, particularly the city background: The black and white cutouts were a staple element of the MP cartoon sketches.

Spellbound (series 3)

Entry Robin's line "Kardiak, you're under arrest!" is of course a word pun on the medical term "cardiac arrest". And given that Kardiak is a giant heart - enough said.

X (series 3)

Entry When Robin and Red X jump to the attack against Dr. Chang's henchmen, a white dove passes across the screen. The white dove passing by is the trademark of film director John Woo, stemming from an idea he had for his film The Killer.
Entry The warehouse in which the Titans combat the new Red X is actually the same warehouse which housed the disco party in "Sisters", right down to the SOTO (after series co-director Alex Soto) neon sign.
Entry One of Beast Boy's possible choices for Red X's identity is "part of a clone army". If you stop at the right time, you can indeed see Robin wearing a Star Wars clone trooper armor suit (sans helmet).

The End (2) (series 4)

Entry While the Titans fight their own evil sides summoned by Trigon, the evil Cyborg taunts the good Cyborg about having no mother. As a matter of fact, in the mainstream comic series Cyborg's mother died because of a botched experiment by his father, which summoned an interdimensional monster. It was also on that day that Cyborg received his cybernetic prosthetics due to injuries the monster had inflicted on him.

Mother Mae-Eye (series 4)

Entry The girl in the clothes shop which gets raided by the HIVE Five is the video store girl from "Fear Itself"; she even wears the same things. Obviously, after the unsettling events involving Control Freak's first appearance, she decided to switch jobs.
Entry Among the "mystical items" offered by the gypsy, we can find Control Freak's remote, the Wicked Scary Monster prop-up from "Fear Itself", and the Puppet King marionette from "Switched".

Employee of the Month (series 4)

Updated recently In reflection, the production and creative staff freely admitted that when they concocted this episode, their sense of seriousness had perhaps totally gone overboard some way through the creation process.

Episode 257-494 (series 4)

Entry Some of the Clash Of The Planets characters Beast Boy introduces make an appearance as actual persons in fifth season's "Revved Up".
Entry The robot villain Seven-Gorn-Seven is a variation of the famous (and distinct) robot character Robbie the Robot who first appeared in 1956's Forbidden Planet.

Calling All Titans (series 5)

Entry Among the Honorary Titans Robin contacts to ensure the com devices work, we can catch a short glimpse of Wondergirl, one of the original Titans in the comic series. But it is notable that strangely, this character never actually appears in the series.
