When the family is meeting in the Board Room at the office, a boom mic is visible for a few seconds then is pulled out of camera view. [I think you have confused this episode with another one. There is only one meeting in the episode when only Michael is meeting with the board and gets a crank call from George Michael. At no point is there a boom mic in the shot.]
