15th Dec '03 - In reference to a previous joke about christmas gifts, Katie was out shopping and saw a xylophone in the window (the gift Martin said that she definately wouldn't be getting him), but it was a glockenspiel in the shop, not a xylophone. [Many many people make that mistake of getting the two mixed up, she might not be very musically talented. Character mistake, but not a movie mistake.]

Trivia
The famous scene that caused controversy, where Ken grabs Deirdre by the neck after finding out about her and Mike, wasn't in the script, it was an improvisation. William Roache, who plays Ken, thought that Ken's reaction was a bit unrealistic. The director told him to do what he thought Ken's reaction would be, and therefore Ken grabbed Deirdre's throat and slammed her against a wall. See more...
Coronation Street (1960) - 2 corrections
Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

In the first of two episodes aired on August 22nd, a psychiatrist visits Shelley. He walks into the Rovers, greeted by Charlie and the others, and Charlie simply lets him go upstairs
- without the psychiatrist showing any identification. [It is very likely that Charlie had already seen the psychiatrist when he booked the appointment for Shelley.]
