Does Lane live with both her parents? I've heard her talk about "parents" in plural but I've never seen her father, nor heard anyone talk about him. Anyone who knows? [Yes, Lane lives with both her parents. Her father does live with them, but we have only been seeing her mom.]
What is the DAR that Emily always talks about? [Daughters of the American Revolution is an organization for women. Part of the membership requirements is that you have to prove that one of your ancestors was a "Patriot of the American Revolution", i.e. in America back in the 1770's and working on the American side. Stereotypically (not true but assumed), the membership are upper-class snobs like Emily.]

I know Rory and Gigi are half-sisters, but out of curiosity, what relationships would be required to make them step-sisters? [Half sisters (or brothers) share either a mother or a father, but not both. Step sisters mean there is no blood relationship at all and one's mother and the other's father got married to each other.]

In terms of days, weeks, months, etc., how long were Lorelai and Christopher married in season seven? [They were never married. She was engaged twice. Once to Max, once to Luke. The show ended before she wed.]
