Entry When this series was shown on Canadian television, it was called "Beasties."
Entry The Golden Disc that Megatron stole from Cybertron is the same disc placed on the Voyager spacecraft. You can even see the words "Sounds of Earth" printed on it several times across the series. You can check out what the disc actually looks like here: http://www.solarviews.com/cap/craft/sounds.htm.
Entry Waspinator and Rhinox are the only two characters who took part in the Beast Wars from the very first to the very last episode, and still retained their original forms. Every other character was either introduced later, died before the last episode, or was Transmetallized at some point.
Entry In the Season 3 episode "Feral Scream, Part 2," Optimus calls Depth Charge a "hardhead." Hardhead was an Autobot who appeared in the Transformers: Headmasters comic. Coincidentally, part of Hardhead's file reads: "The only way to get Hardhead to follow advice is to persuade him he came up with the idea himself. He knows only one way to do anything - his way." Sounds a lot like Depth Charge's mentality to me.
Entry Depth Charge is said to have been the only survivor of Colony Omicron after it was destroyed by Rampage. Omicron is also the name of a colony in Star Trek: The Next Generation. It, too, was destroyed leaving only one survivor, Data.
Entry Tigatron and Black Arachnia weren't supposed to appear in the show originally, and so their action figures were just repaints of Cheetor and Tarantulas, respectively. When they were chosen to join the teams (Tigatron in place of Wolfang, Black Arachnia on her own), the animators panicked because they had no body casts to work with, and made up their looks on the fly.

Entry In the episode where Starscream (a Generation 1 character) possesses Waspinator, they could not use Starscream's original voice actor(Chris Latta), because he had unfortunately passed away several years prior. So they used the voice actor for Terrorsaur. Also, because the actor's impression of Starscream and Terrorsaur is so alike, Terrorsaur has very few lines in the episode.
Entry For the first few episodes, Scorponok had a Maximal symbol on his missiles, as a sort of "this bullet has your name on it" thing. After the confusion caused for many people that pointed out that he is a Predacon, the symbols in question were removed.

Code of Hero (series 2)

Entry In Dinobot's quarters, after thinking about committing suicide, he looks out the window and sees three birds fly past. They're flying the "missing man" formation, which is also performed by Silverbolt, Optimus, and Cheetor at the end of the episode to honor the fallen Dinobot.

Coming of the Fuzors (1) (series 2)

Entry Silverbolt is the only character on the show to have two different figures that have no relation to each other. The first one released was from the three-piece Maximal figure, and was an eagle, while the second was the one that we all know and love.

All of series 2 (series 2)

Entry In the episode "Transmutate," the titular character is voiced by Susan Blu - she was a voice actress in the original Transformers series as Arcee. She is also the only Generation 1 voice actress to play a role in Beast Wars.
Entry Silverbolt compares Blackarachnia's beauty to the planet Venus. It's an interesting in-joke, since her voice actress is Venus Terzo.
Entry In some instances when we see Rampage firing his humongous rocket launcher, one of the tips has a yellow "peace" sign painted onto it.
Entry At the beginning of "The Agenda, Part I," you can see bits and pieces of Optimus Primal's destroyed original body floating amidst the transwarp wave.
Entry The three Predacons who make up the Tripredacus Council are supposed to be Cicadacon, Ram Horn, and Sea Clamp, the three characters that combine to form the Beast Wars action figure Tripredacus. It was production company Mainframe's intention to make its show counterparts resemble its respective action figures, but there wasn't time to fully design them. This is also why the character designs look "simple" in comparison to other characters on the show.
