Question
I've been trying to identify an episode of an old horror program (or possibly a movie) that I saw on TV in the 1960's. It had this ending: A young girl is confronted by an adult couple (presumably her parents) because she has drawn a picture of the house on fire. Her drawing has supernaturally caused the house to actually be on fire. As the male adult reaches to restrain the child, she grabs a nearby framed portrait of him and draws a line on it. This causes a bleeding gash on the man's face. The chilling final scene is the girl covering his photo completely with marks as we hear the man's screams. Any clue what show or movie this scene is from? Answer
I am trying to find a movie that I watched when I was younger. I really don't remember all that much about it. I do know that it was about a recently married couple who went on a vacation possibly their honeymoon to an eccentric uncle's place. The new husband was having problems in a sexual nature and the new wife was constantly getting hit on by the uncle. The husband ends up sleeping with a woman when they are trapped in a storm. Any help would be appreciated? Answer
Calling all Samurai fans! My friend and I saw this movie on a public access channel and couldn't stop laughing, it was a very low budget Samurai movie. There was one scene where an old guy with a long white beard (who seems to be in every Samurai film) is talking to his student(?) He says something like "I am here! Soon I won't be here! But they be here!" Then he throws a stick at a rock and a ninja jumps out. (The old guy is later killed by someone who turns into a snake.) Later the student is running through the woods, and after jumping up into a tree after spikes stick out of the ground, fights with someone (another ninja?). The ninja cuts off his head, but his head just floats to a log and talks to him while his body continues fighting, after he kills the guy, his head floats back on to his body. At the end of the film the guy is standing on a rooftop and draws a circle in the air which he "throws" to the bad guys, tying them up. There is also something about an old lady standing near water, yelling something while slowly disappearing. My friend and I have been trying to find this film for nearly 3 years. Please help. Answer
Much like the "Wilhelm" scream, there is the sound of a lizard-like monster that is used time and time again. It was both the roar of the DragonZord on Power Rangers, and Bahamut from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. What's the title of the clip (if it has one) and where did it originate? Answer
I am trying to find the title of a film I watched a few years ago, The storyline, There was a woman who is held hostage in her home by this man, I can't quite remember if he was on the run from the police or escaped from prison, he is very nasty to begin with. The man and woman end up talking and she has many problems also from her childhood, they talk about everything. Also the police and negotiators are outside along with her worried husband. In the end they become friends and walk out together after she persuades him, it's based on a true story, and was shown on the channel Living TV. I really liked this movie I just can't remember the title. Answer
I need the title of a western I once saw on "Dialing for Dollars" if you remember that TV show. The movie ended with a couple - possibly husband and wife - surrounded by a posse or some lawmen. They are in an all-out gunfight. The husband is killed and they ask the wife to give up. She grabs the husband's gun and starts shooting also. She is immediately shot and dies. I remember the woman as if she were Rachel Welch, but I have not found any of her westerns to be a match. Thanks. Answer
I'm hoping that someone will know the name of a movie that I saw in the 1990's. It's about the boogey man and starts with a little girl and boy who share a room. There's a teddy bear under the bed and it's eyes are glowing and it steals the little boy by convincing him to come under the bed. A detective (I think) involves himself in the 'kidnapping' of the boy, and it turns out that his older brother had also been taken. I think they find a bloody shoe in a forest. There's another bit where you see the boogey man and he's transparent and something happens with another little boy and then the boogey man is swinging through trees. I'm desperate to find this movie as I saw it when I was quiet young (although only the first half as my parents made me stop watching it). Any ideas? Answer
I remember this Canadian TV show from the early 90s where a robot would go to an area of business at the end of each episode and always screw up. During the closing credits, you see the robot take the subway home. What was the name of it? Answer
About twelve years ago, I was watching this animated TV special where a little girl is reading a ghost story to her toys. Her mother calls her down, so she pauses and puts a bookmark in the book. While she is gone, the toys come to life and discover that the ghost from the story is stalking them. The ghost won't go away until the story is finished. The toys (one I remember was named Grouchbear) are then transported into the story and must find a way to end it. What was the name of the special? Answer
I am looking for a 1980's film. Its about a road trip with two guys and a blond girl. The guys are kinda nerdy and she's their dream girl. In the movie they get to know more about each other than their surface assumptions. Can't really remember any other details. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about? Answer
I was watching a movie about 5 years ago; it was an old black and white film and only contained dogs, not dogfights but actual dogs like German shepherds. It was a war movie and I'm not sure if the war was World War One or Two. If any one can help it would be greatly appreciated. Answer
This question is really broad, but for a broadcasting class I am taking we have to find the movie this scene is from. So if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Scene: Takes place in a wooded area, there is really deep snow, up to the person's knees at least. A man is running frantically, constantly looking behind him and tripping over the deep snow. He is wearing a winter hat, reminds me of the ones you see Russians wearing (not sure what they are called.) On his hat are the numbers "29648." There are men chasing after him on horses and a blonde woman with the same type of hat on a horse next to him. Then a spear is thrown at him and pierces through the back of his head and looks like it comes out through his eye and he falls to the ground. That is it. I know it's really not a lot to work with, but I'm just hopeing someone might have seen it and could help me out. Thanks in advance. Answer
What was the first movie to use the often satarized tagline "If you only see one movie this year, make it___"? Answer
I remember watching a horror movie on television a long time ago. Perhaps in the 1970s. I don't remember much about it except the basic plot where a family moves into a house and finds a portait of themselves in the cellar (no one is sure who painted it). One by one the family members are visited by a ghost telling them that "someone is drowning in the well", which is situated outside the house. They follow the ghost and one by one are pushed into the well. Before each visit the victim is mysteriously crossed out from the portrait. I have no idea of the film's title or how it ends so if anyone remembers it I would be grateful. Answer
Don't have title or actor's name but the movie was based on an American pilot shot down over Northren Japan during winter, I think, and kept as prisnor and hidden from the Japanise army when they came thru town. Thought it was Anthony Hopkins, but was not. Answer
I'm looking for an animated children's movie I saw in the early '90s (though my guess is it was an 80s/possibly late 70s film). It had three or four people traveling through our tunnels and old parking garages in search of a "paradise," because their current world is too polluted. There was a little boy and a little girl, a grandmother/old lady (who died in one of the parking garages half way through the film) and I believe there was a man too (he was only in first half though). One of the kids played a flute. I also remember all the people being different colors — like red and blue. The whole movie was very dark and the scenery was creepy. It ends with the boy and girl finding paradise and running along a beach with palm trees. Anyone know the title of this movie? Answer
This is about fans, the rotating kind. In sci-fi movies it seems (mostly) there is one scene with a rotating fan or fans. Usually they are backlit and slightly foggy, but they usually serve no purpose. Sometimes a duct fan, sometimes a stand-up room fan. One film had 20 of the things in a 'wall of fans'. Does anybody know the significance of throwing a meaningless fan into a movie? Note: This may be a duplicate entry - I sent it in yesterday but the browser didn't acknowledge. If a duplicate, I apologize. Answer
Looking for the title of a film, I'm almost sure it was balck and white, and I remember this horrible scene in which a little girl is running across the street towards what may have been her grandfather who was either sick or blind or both and then one of them gets hit by a car or a truck. It really made an impression and I can't recall the actors or the title. Answer
For years I've been trying to find a play which appeared on British TV maybe 30 years ago or more about an Irish parish priest and a very naughty boy who loves Jesus. All I remember is that in the end the boy "saves" Jesus by breaking him off the cross, and the film ends with the priest furiously repairing the cross by banging the nails back in. Does anyone else remember it? Answer
Does anyone know the title to this movie I saw sometime in the 70's? It is a western that ends with a shootout between a posse and the couple they are pursuing. The couple is huddled low while the man is shooting. After the man is killed, the posse calls to the woman to surrender. Instead, she grabs the rifle and continues the fight. She is quickly killed and slumps over dramatically. Answer
