Question
I'm looking for the title of a short lived 80's series. It was a fantasy setting and was basically a dumb jock and a valley girl as a warrior and princess. It was, I think, deliberately cheesy. The only real thing I remember was an episode where the hero and girl spent a day at a haunted castle. The jock/warrior gets spooked and attacks a chair with his sword and then spirits that impersonate the main characters start showing up to frighten them and they have to escape. Answer
Does anyone know the name of a really cheesy dinosaur movie involving real lizards as dinosaurs? I'm pretty sure the movie took place on the moon, or at least somewhere you'd need a spaceship to get to. There were also woolly mammoths that were just someone's old hair clippings piled up. Thanks. Answer
I saw a movie about this girl, Holly (I think) and her best friend whose name I don't remember. Her best friend convinces her to apply to the Playboy restaurant, and the two of them end up working there. Holly becomes one of the best bunnies but her best friend falls apart and starts breaking the rules and abusing diet pills. This leads to a falling out between the two. Holly ends up falling in love with the bartender and there is an emotional reunion scene between her and her best friend at a train station at the end of the movie. Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about? Answer
Looking for the title of a cheesy 1950s sci-fi flick involving space fungi that were killing people. The fungi came back on a spaceship to the moon and were killing people at a moon base. The film is not: "The Green Slime" (1968) or "Space Master X-7" (1958) or the 1963 Outer Limits episode "Specimen Unknown," but was similar. The 1950s film featured a classic Chesley Bonestell conical rocket with 2 sets of fins and the fungi looked like loofahs covered with silver paint. (That's probably what they were, actually.) It was not done in color - only B&W. The film title was a 3-D set of words with an organic look, as though the words were made out of fungus. Any ideas? Answer
I saw a movie probably at least 15 years ago - though it could have been an older movie then. The movie was about a man who time traveled from the future to the present (around the time the movie was made). I don't why he time traveled but while he was there he met his grandfather or great grandfather and ended up helping this man become a hero by gettting him (as he was destined to do in a predestined paradox) to save a bunch of people from a fire. Does anyone know the title of this movie? It's definitely not Frequency. Answer
I've been watching "Melrose Place" on DVD, and I'm curious: since the show was aired on FOX, why are the DVDs released by CBS? Answer
There are some reality shows, like Trading Spouses, where people win/are given money, but are told to use it for certain things (for example, each family on Trading Spouses has to use the money as instructed by the visiting mother from the other family). Do the shows' creators do anything to make sure that people use the money the way they are told to? Answer
Other than "Duma" (2005), does anyone know if there is another movie about a cheetah named Duma? I saw a movie several years ago, and the only scene I vaguely remember is one guy looking, around sunset, calling out Duma's name to try to get her to come back. I think she had wandered off from the group or the camp. Answer
I'm looking for a movie I seen made in the late 80's or early 90's the movie set is mostly in the woods and they have these teams of people who are playing a game and when they get to each mark they have to punch a hole in the thing showing that they been there and towards the end of the movie they have a guy who dresses in a bear suit on a motorcycle to stop some people who I think is trying to take that place from him all I can remember is they had a woman with reddish color hair in it the man looks like Jason Gedrick when he was younger but its not him and at the end of the movie the red hair woman has the bear suit on riding the motorbike? Answer
Does anyone know the name of this black and white movie? A cowboy has himself thrown in jail to help a young man (his son?) escape. The man doesn't want to escape, so the cowboy breaks out and rides off to Canada until the heat dies down. It was a light-hearted movie with a depressing ending: just when he crosses the border, his horse is hit by a car. The police shoot his maimed horse and the film ends with the cowboy being loaded into an ambulance. Answer
I saw this episode of a TV show once, although maybe it was a movie on TV. A woman's mother had been murdered. There were flashbacks that showed the woman as a girl, and her mother was abusive to her. The flashbacks showed the mother threatening to kill the girl's cat (while the girl was sitting at a piano), saying the girl looked like a "fat little pig" in a certain dress, and the girl hiding in a dark room (I think a cellar or garage) while her mother was looking for her. There was also a scene where the adult woman finds a teddy bear that she owned as a child in her mother's house. Does anyone know what TV show or movie this was? Answer
I saw a movie many years ago, a cheap 80's movie I believe. It involved two cops undercover in some sort of death match fighting scheme. One cop had a ponytail and was a martial artsy character, the other cop was more of a "bar fighter". The end of the movie has the martial arts cop getting his head cut off by the death match champion and the other cop beating the champion later on. This is not Kickboxer, and neither of the two cops are any famous or semi-famous actors that I know of. Please help me figure out what movie this is, it's very frustrating. Thank you. Answer
I am looking for the name of a film probably made in the 40s or 50s.The final scene shows a blonde haired woman looking up at a house on fire in which a dark haired woman is trapped. It's not "Rebecca" or "Jane Eyre". Answer
OK, It was a movie I watched a long time ago and I don't remember a whole lot about it, but there is one scene where these kids collect a lot of sweat from people and then drink it. They thought it was going to be good for some reason, but it wasn't (of course). This is driving me mad. Answer
There was a 60's or 70's Saturday morning cartoon series about a superhero (something like a Captain Planet) that was made of weed or grass or something similar. It wasn't controversial because no one caught on to it's drug-overtones. A clip was featured in a compilation documentary of controversial or banned cartoons narrated by (I think) Bob Barker. It might have seen it on YouTube. Answer
In the 90's, I watched a drama on either the BBC or ITV, set during World War 2, about the story of black American GI's stationed in England and one of them starts a relationship with an English girl, who then gets pregnant. I think the girl is already married, and the GI dies. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Answer
I am trying to think of a movie from the 80's/ early 90's about a boy, and a gem or ring of some sort, an elevator, some kind of underwater place, and there is a talking turtle in it. I believe he is trying to keep a bridge from being built. If anyone knows what I am talking about it would help. Thank you. Answer
Does anyone know the title of a movie where the main character is pregnant in prison and in labor for much of the movie, but unseen? The husband is there worrying about her, and the doctor's tell him they can either save the baby or her - he says save his wife. Then, the woman wakes up, the doctor's ask her what to do, and she tells them to save the baby. I think the movie was in black & white, so it is really old. It is not Women's Prison or Caged. Thank you for answering this. Answer
In one of Pixar's first computer animated short films, "Red's Dream", A jazz score composed by David Slusser constantly plays at the background. What is the name of that score? Answer
I am looking for the title of a movie that I probably saw in the 90s. A lot of scenes are in a cabin in the snowy mountains that was owned by a girl's mother or aunt who passed away, I think. The special thing about the movie is the interior of the cabin/house. The rooms each have their respective colour. I remember an entirely red and an entirely green room. Even the girls inhabiting the rooms wore red or green clothes, respectively. Anyone remember this? Thanks a lot for your help. Answer
