Questions (view answered questions / view films/shows with answers)

This page is for questions relating to a specific movie/TV show. If you have a more general question, ie. you can't remember the name of a movie, or want to know how an aspect of filmmaking works, check out the general movie questions section.

These are all the unanswered questions currently listed on moviemistakes.com. Click "answer" on the right to answer a question, or else you can click the title to see all questions for that film/TV show. Got a question about a movie/TV show that the IMDb or Google can't help with? You can submit them in the same way as you would a mistake - just click "submit something" on the left when you're on the relevant film's page (if you want to submit for a film I don't have listed, click it when NOT viewing a specific film), and write your question in the box, being sure to change the type to "Question". I'll post it ASAP and hopefully someone will answer soon! Members get e-mailed when any of their questions are answered.

Title Question
Buffy The Vampire Slayer Beer Bad: In this episode Parker is seen in Professor Walsh's psychology class with Buffy, in spite of there having been no reference to them being in any classes together until this point. Furthermore, it is suggested in various conversations that they weren't taking any classes together. It seems inconsistent with Professor Walsh's character that she would allow anyone to sign-up last minute. Mistake? Or can someone come up with a reasonable explanation (other than a convenient writer's decision)? Answer
Buffy The Vampire Slayer Across whole show: I was just curious, does anyone know why there are no bloopers/outtakes of Sarah Michelle Gellar on the DVD special features? She is an amazing actress, but I'm sure there would have been some takes where she stuffed a line. Just thought it was odd there were none of her but most of the others. Answer
The Butterfly Effect What song is playing as Evan is walking through the girl's dormitory after waking up with Kayleigh? Also, who is the artist? Answer
Casino Where does Cream's song "Those Were the Days" appear in the film? Answer
Changeling Warning: Spoiler. At the end of the movie, it's found that three of the victims had managed to escape; only one was actually returned to the parents. It isn't known if the other two were recaptured by the killer or managed to get away (but went into hiding). Why didn't the police just go back and question the killer's accomplice? He'd likely be able to reveal whether any of the boys had been recaptured. (We're never told if the accomplice had died by that point, or whether he was unavailable, or whether nobody bothered asking him.) Answer
Chaos When Conners fakes his death in the explosion, he places his badge on a body before jumping down his escape hatch. This fooled everyone else into thinking that he had been killed, but why weren't they suspicious that there was a body missing? They knew how many people were in the house when it blew. Answer
Charley Varrick What is the name of the song and artist that plays in the very end of the movie and also the same song plays when Varrick blows up his wife's car. Could someone please tell me this? Answer
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Young Willy runs through the flags of various countries at the museum. Can someone name those countries in order. Answer
Charmed Magic Hour: When the owl has the arrow in it, is the owl real or animatronic? Answer
Charmed Across whole show: Throughout the show the term 'past lives' is mentioned. Leo also mentions the term 'soul mates' in Pardon My Past. Does anyone know why Patty,Grams go to 'heaven' (or what ever term is more appropriate) and not into another life? Is it ever explained in the show? Answer
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Any thoughts on whether or not General Glozelle actually killed his three men, like Miraz 'told' him to? He did attempt to follow Miraz's order to assassinate Caspian, but then hesitated to give the order to fire into the courtyard, didn't shoot Peter, and didn't stab Caspian. Maybe he told the three men to hide? Answer
Chuck Chuck Versus the Cougars: Recent episodes of Chuck seem to be drawing on Grosse Pointe Blank - one was based at a high school reunion with a few blatant references to the movie. In the episode before, Chuck made reference to Sarah "quelling a revolution with a fork", which is near-identical to John Cusack, who in GPB said he "killed the president of Paraguay with a fork". Any reason? Answer
Clockstoppers In the scene where the hypertime QT agents are in Zak's house, one of them gets sprayed with liquid nitrogen, bringing him down to normal time. But, if he is in normal time, wouldn't Zak's mom and sister see him? Don't you think they would call the police after seeing a stranger in their house? Answer
Closer Before Dan and Alice left for Anna's show, why didn't Dan want Alice to travel with him after the show? I know he wanted to go and talk to Anna, but since he almost gets into a car and then suddenly changes his mind, it seemed like he had just then decided to go and try to talk to Anna. Answer
Contact Obviously, for the purpose of the film, events were compressed into a much shorter time frame, especially from when the message is discovered, to building the transport machine, and the actual trip through the wormhole. How many years passed for these same occurrences in the book? Answer
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Formalities: What is the name and artist of the song playing when Nick takes the guy in the white suit out of the Homecoming dance to interview? Answer
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Homebodies: OK, I don't get it. Who killed Suzanna? Was it the same guy that raped her? And how were the two cases interlinked? Answer
CSI: Miami All of series 4: Are the episodes of this season re-edited when they air abroad? I live in Europe and sometimes when an episode airs it feels as if a scene has been left out, characters refer back to things or are upset about things that have not been shown in the episode. Some scenes begin with what seem like the middle of a conversation, for example one scene with Calleigh and Horatio begins with Horatio saying "I don't want you to worry about that" and then moving on to a different topic. Also the episode recaps on cbs.com don't follow the episodes. For example the episode "Driven", the recap says Horatio told Marisol to stay with him, then later on went home to check on her and told her someone had broken in to her house. When I saw the episode he told her that someone had broken in to her house so she should stay with him, and he doesn't go home to her until the end of the episode. Answer
CSI: Miami Urban Hellraisers: According to imdb.com, Alana De La Garza (Marisol) is in this episode. I didn't see Marisol anywhere, what did I miss? Answer
CSI: NY Sweet Sixteen: Being ophidiophobic, the scene with the snake in the car freaked me out. Are snakes as common in New York City as they are in Las Vegas and Miami? Answer
