| The Reaping | There is a scene where Father Costigan is walking outdoors carrying a bunch of books. He is frightened by a shadow of a statue that seems to turn into a swarm of buzzing insects. He drops his books. When he bends to pick them up one of the book is open to what appears to be a painting. The painting resembles Albrecht Durer's "St Michael fighting the Dragon", but with some subtle differences (its in color and there is a child in the foreground.) Can anyone tell me the name of the painting or picture in that book, the artist, and where I can find it? | Answer |
| Rebel Without a Cause | When Jim and Judy are talking in the driveway, Jim's car radio is on. The D.J. announces that someone has phoned in a dedication, "a new version of a rhythm & blues classic." Does anyone know what song this is? (It sounds familiar but I just can't place it.) And is this symbolic of anything? Is it just a coincidence that someone named Buzz dedicated a song to a Jim, or is this something Buzz's friends did to send a message to Jim? I've wondered about this ever since I first saw this movie at the theater in the '50s. Many thanks in advance for anyone who can fill me in. | Answer |

| Les Rendez-vous d'Anna | What is the song that Anna sings to the man in the bed? Is it a real song, or was it made up for the film? I thought it was really nice but I could not find anything on Google when typing in the subtitled English lyrics. | Answer |

| Robin Hood: Men in Tights | During the prison scene (after Robin's tongue is stretched), one of the guards says something. Robin asks what, and the other says "You don't want to know." Was something actually said, or was it just gibberish that we're meant to think was Arabic? | Answer |
| Robocop 3 | I remember there being a trailer for an Anime film (possibly series) on the video release of this film. What was its name? There was a bit in the trailer where one character asks another, "Why'd you do it?! You picked the lunch hour to fight bad guys!" | Answer |
| Rock Star | What kind of car does Chris drive at the beginning of the film? | Answer |
| Rocky Balboa | There is a scene where Pauly jokes with Rocky about wearing a sign with 'punch me' written on it for 5 bucks a punch. Is this a reference to another boxing movie 'Crying Fist'? | Answer |
| Rocky V | At the end of the movie after Tommy knocks Paulie to the ground, George Duke pulls Tommy away and yells something at him. It is right before Rocky says "Now you knocked him down, why don't you try knocking me down now." He is saying it way too fast so it is hard to hear him. What does he yell at Tommy? (and its not "save it for the ring" like an earlier answer stated. it was something else). | Answer |
| The Rookie | Whatever happened to his little brother? He is shown eating in the first scene when they decide to move, but never mentioned, seen, or heard from again. | Answer |

| Saw V | Jigsaw tells Detective Hoffman (While he is in the chair with a shotgun to his throat) that "Unlike you, I have never killed anyone. I give people a chance" In Saw II, one of the traps was a revolver behind a door, barrel aiming straight through the eye slot. There is no sign of this from inside the room, where the victim is. Person turn a knob on the door and the gun fired and killed them. How is that giving someone a chance or not killing them? He didn't give them an option beyond getting killed. This person didn't have any chance, unlike every other trap. | Answer |
| A Scanner Darkly | I kinda understood the scramble suits that they would wear in the movie to keep their identity secret but I do not understand exactly how they would help. If you had to walk into the office every morning (it would have to be a high security area they worked in) where you would have guards/security and id cards and such to get in, people would know that you worked there simply by watching you entering and leaving the building. The only thing the suits would help with is at public speakings but all they really seem to do is keep your coworkers guessing who you are. You see "Code name guy" walk into room then "regular guy" walk out. Not very hard to figure out. Anybody with a little insight please explain. | Answer |
| Schindler's List | This film, surprisingly, has a reference to two other films: "Citizen Kane" and "Grave of the Fireflies". However, I can't find out what and where the references are. Can someone tell me what they are and how far into the movie they appear? | Answer |
| Schindler's List | At the beginning of the film, the song played in the restaurant when Schindler arrives is "Por Una Cabeza" (the same tango of the movie True Lies). Is this some kind of Spielberg complaint with Argentina due to the many nazi members hidden in this country after the war? | Answer |
| Scream | Is there really a deleted scene (I don't know if it's on the DVD or not) where Tatum says that Stu isn't good in bed? | Answer |
