Eagle Eye (2008) - 6 corrections

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. Corrections

In a scene when a fire sprinkler system is activated, every sprinkler head in the room sprays water. This is a common movie technique that is not factual. Sprinkler heads only activate when heat is high enough at each head to melt the small device holding back the water that is always charged (pressurized) in the line. [The may be true, but ARIA (or Eagle Eye) can control almost anything that is connected electronically. If a fire sprinkler is activated, the fire department comes because a signal is sent to them. Since ARIA controls everything electronically, she can active the sprinklers at any time she feels fit, or she could have melted that little device herself.]

I can understand how Jerry can be shot 3 times by secret service and live, BUT the other two characters fall in the "liquid nitrogen" that keeps the computer cool and they live? the nitrogen would kill them instantly. [The liquid is not nitrogen, as there would be a 'fog' coming from the surface, as it would boil away and evaporate at typical room temperature, and when not contained or pressurized; the liquid is probably water, such as a water-cooled computer like some have.]

When Zoe and the military guy are trying to destroy the computer, they are draining the liquid nitrogen to the area below. Then both Zoe and the military man fall into it, but are OK. How can this be? [They were draining the liquid nitrogen to another location, as stated by the officer on duty. The liquid they fall into had to have been water, not in fact liquid nitrogen as there was no 'fog' lifting from it, as liquid nitrogen would have at room temperature and uncontained.]

When Jerry and Rachel are running away from the FBI, through the airport, they are instructed to go through the emergency exit. There is a lock on the door that can only be opened with an access card. The computer opens the door for Jerry and Rachel, and locks out the FBI. This makes no sense because it was an EMERGENCY EXIT and should have been open for everybody. [The door was in fact NOT an emergency exit, but a staff/maintenance exit, which is clear by the signs posted on the door: "NOT AN EXIT" "STAFF ONLY".]

When the orchestra is playing at the State of the Union address, there are cymbals and drums heard. The only percussion seen when the whole group is shown is bells. [There is a kid with an electronic keyboard, which is more than capable of making drum and cymbal sounds.]

The crystal set in the kid's trumpet is never discovered or spoken about. Though it isn't set off by the boy's playing it during the State of the Union address, it remains in the trumpet and we are left to believe that the boy who likes to play his trumpet at both school and home will set off the crystal and blow himself - and likely a large number of others - up. [The crystal was set in Rachel's necklace. The detonator was set in Sam's trumpet. The bomb would only detonate if Sam played it while in the same room with the crystal, which is exactly what happened.]
