When Jack and Mrs. Pendrake meet in the whorehouse and talk through a screen of glass beads, Jack is standing very close to the screen, that's why it's out of focus when the camera is on her "looking through his eyes". However, in one shot it's not, and that looks quite strange because Jack hasn't moved away from the screen. See more...

starring Dustin Hoffman, Faye Dunaway (add more)

Genres: Adventure, Drama, War, Western

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Entry Custer is shown being killed by arrows hitting him, but in reality he killed by bullets: one in the chest and one in the head. [True as that may be, this movie does not claim historical accuracy, so consider this artistic license on the part of the filmmakers.]
Entry At the start of the film, when the children come out from under the wagon canopy, there is a man in the foreground with several arrows in him. The arrows can be seen to be moving since the dead guy is still breathing. [Meaning that he isn't dead yet. Later in the film the hero is shown being hit with a number of arrows, and he survives. It happened.]
Entry At the beginning Little Big Man says Pawnees wiped out their wagon train. But then 20 minutes later he says Pawnees always suck up to the white man. So why would they attack the wagons? [The Indians attack the wagons after the white men would give them whiskey instead of coffee, which made them go crazy because they were unaccustomed to alcohol.]
