Continuity: While stuck in the field, the Cadillac is shot in the left front fender. In the final scene, when Robin Williams gets out to walk, the bullet hole is gone.

Continuity: The exterior shots show Jerry Reed is driving a BMW when he arrives at the survival camp. When he stops the car, the interior shot shows a Cadillac, including the distinctive logo on the steering wheel.

Continuity: In the diner, Walter Matthau has nearly finished his piece of toast, and then it gets bigger.

Continuity: When the Cadillac runs off the road, it lands wheel deep in soft, powdery snow. When the occupants are trying to free the car, but it hasn't moved yet, the car is now sitting on top of a broad expanse of hard-packed snow.

Continuity: When the Cadillac is charging towards the survivalists, the car's antenna is up when looking forward through the windshield. During the outside shots, the antenna is down.

Continuity: Jerry Reed's car has no snow on it when he first pulls into the driveway at the survival camp. In the next shot, as he rounds a bend, the car now has lots of crusted snow on it, especially around the windshield.
