Other: In the sequence where Bo is taking his driving test, the driving instructor is shown fumbling to put on his seatbelt three times, all of which are from the same piece of film.

Factual error: Bo's driving instructor throws his clipboard upward from his lap. The instructional car hits the police car and the instructor recoils from the impact. The next shot is of the airbag deploying with the instructor's pen still in writing position near his lap. The shot after all of that is Bo being tasered. Although the taser was invented in 1969, law enforcement did not start using it until near the turn of the century (especially in relatively small counties).

Factual error: When they take the General out of the water, they rebuild it from the ground up. They are somehow able to do this in maybe a couple of days which would be impossible seeing as how it was in the water. They would need to sandblast the rust, reprime the bare metal, and repaint it which would take more than 2 days alone, plus there were only Bo, Luke, Daisy and Cooter working on it.

Continuity: When the Dukes are slipping through Boss Hog's gate, the first shot shows the gate closing, but the next shot shows the General go through a standing still half closed gate, then it closes right after.

Continuity: In the scene where Uncle Jessie is telling the boys how to run 'shine, his braid changes from in front of his left shoulder to behind his back from shot-to-shot.

Continuity: This movie is supposed to take place before the film released with Johnny Knoxville, yet in this film the vehicle is freshly painted and bears the Confederate Flag that wasn't added until halfway through the first film.
