In the scene where Largeman and Sam are sitting on the stairs in the airport, look at the escalator to the right. In the first long shot, the escalator is moving upward. In the next shot the escalator is standing still. When it cuts to a close-up of Largeman, the escalator is moving again. [In fact, when you see the close up of Largeman after the long shot, you cannot see the escalator behind him. What you are seeing is a reflection of the stairs on which they are sitting. There is a glass partition between the stairs and the escalator and this causes the reflection.]

Mistakes
Whilst Largeman is saying goodbye to Sam in the airport and says to her "You've changed my life", Sam has her hand on her cheek and you can see she covers up part of her ear. When the shot changes to a closeup of Sam her hand has changed and is further up her head and covering her entire ear. You can also see that her facial expression has changed between shots going from her eyebrows and mouth being clenched to being relaxed. See more...
Trivia
Much of the scene with Largeman and the doctor in his office was ad libbed by Ron Leibman. Liebman made up patting Braff on the knee and saying "Hey, you're alive" on the spot, and Braff actually did jump from it. He also did some research by calling other doctors, and threw in the line about taking off his shoes and scratching his feet at the very last moment, something doctors actually do. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

For Mrs. Largeman's Jewish funeral, there should not be any kind of metal ornaments or handles attached to the coffin, it should only be a pine box (in accordance with Jewish law, everything must return to dust), yet the metal ornaments/handles can be seen. [Although this reviewer is correct in their description of jewish burial rituals (handles should have been rope or something organic) we must look at it in the context of this movie. If you recall, Largeman said that he wasn't strong in his Jewish faith. That fact, paired with his father's taste for expensive things (note the interior of his house), we can assume this was something Braff considered. As a personal note, I am Jewish and have been to several Jewish funerals, as well as being a pallbearer at one and all of the coffins had metal handles, so it isn't always followed exactly.]
