Cary Grant refers to another character as a "mock turtle." Grant played the Mock Turtle in a 1930s film version of "Alice in Wonderland."

When trying to describe Bruce to a friend Grant says "He looks like, uhh, that fella in the movies, Ralph Bellamy." Bruce was in fact played by Ralph Bellamy.

When Cary Grant and his ex wife are being arrested, Cary says "That's what Archie Leach said before he cut his throat." Grant liked to add Archie's names in his movies. That was Grant's real name.
