Continuity: When the brunette is in the shower and that boy shows up he is wearing blue pants, but when you see the clothes lying on the carpet while they are in bed together, the pants are brown... or vice versa.

Continuity: At the prom, when Julie and Randy are leaving they get into some sort of Dodge K-car limousine, and when they show the limo on the freeway driving past a mall, the limo is a Lincoln.

Continuity: When Randy shows up at the Health Food Store where Julie is working, Julie is wearing Levi's. In the next shot, she is wearing light blue pants.

Continuity: At the "valley party" near the beginning (the one where Julie and Randy meet) you can clearly see "x's" marking the floor where the actors are dancing, just so they are sure to hit their marks.

Continuity: When Randy's talking to Julie from the pay phone in the bar his right sleeve is rolled up to his elbow. It changes to a long sleeve when he's knocking on the wall.

Continuity: When Julie and Stacy are getting ready for the party, Stacy is helping Julie with the buttons on her sleeves. Stacy buttons the right sleeve, then the left in one shot, and in the next shot Stacy is buttoning Julie's right sleeve again.

Continuity: In the scene in the diner Julie's friends are telling her Tommy wants to take her back, Stacey enters with school books close to chest and sits down the next scene shows the books on the table, and the following scene shows books back against her chest.

Revealing: The little sister says she didn't mean to back into the record player, but just before, she very noticeably makes an obvious move toward the record player.

Factual error: When they drive away at the end they say they are going to the Valley Sheridan, but when the camera pans out they are really going in the opposite direction towards Santa Monica

Audio problem: In the scene where Skip delivered groceries to Suzy's house, he and Beth are standing face to face flirting by the pool. At one point while they are talking, you plainly hear a door opening, as well as a few footsteps. No one else was supposedly home at that time.
