When Richard Chance (William Petersen) is shot at the end, run it in slow motion and you can see the blood comes from off camera. The same cheap effect was also used when his partner gets killed in the beginning. [The rules of the site are clear.if you need to use slow motion to see it, it's not a mistake.]
