When Sydney is attacked by Ghostface in the bathroom at school, Ghostface is wearing black pants and boots, but when Sydney, Billy, Stu, and Tatum are talking in front of the lockers seconds before Sydney goes into the bathroom Billy is wearing blue jeans and vans, and Stu is wearing tan pants and brown boots. How did either one of them change clothes that quickly? [The attacker in the bathroom wasn't Stu or Billy. Its more likely this was a prankster as he didn't have a knife and it would be too risky for either of them to try and kill her in the bathroom.]

Billy Loomis: Sid, don't blame the movies. The movies don't create psychos, movies make psychos more creative.

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. When Casey is looking outside at a tied-up Steve while on the phone with the killer, her hair is hanging over the phone. Cut to the scene of Steve, then back to Casey and her hair is pushed behind her ear. Back to Steve, then back to Casey again - her hair is hanging over the phone again. [I've just watched this and the hair doesn't move at all.]
In the scene where Dewey and Gale are walking down the street looking for the abandoned car, they see two cars coming towards them on the road but when they jump out of the way you can clearly see only one car pass them. And there are no side roads for the other car to turn on to. [That's what I thought at first. But after watching it closely, the second car does, in fact, drive by. It's very quick, but it is there.]
When Tatum calls Sidney at 7:15, she reaches over to get the phone. Before answering it her left sleeve is almost to her elbow, but when she answers it, the sleeve is at her wrist. [Her sleeve slid down while reaching to the phone. It happens all the time a sleeve you pull up usually tends to drop back down to your wrist.]
At the end when Billy uses the voice changer and says time to guess how I'm gonna die, his voice doesn't match the polished voice we heard earlier in the movie on the phone. [That's because he's screaming it into the voice changer. And he no longer has to hide who he is anyway; Sidney knows he's the killer.]
After Sydney gets attacked at the beginning and is sitting in the back of an ambulance for police questioning, the ambulance says Bayshore, when Woodsboro is inland in California. [Bayshore is just the name of the ambulance company - it doesn't imply that the ambulance can only operate near a bay or a shore.]
Sidney is talking with Stu and Tatum at the lockers when someone runs buy wearing the Ghostface mask. She runs down the hall, bumping into Billy, then goes into the bathroom and meets the killer. We know it isn't Billy because we just saw him, but how would Stu get into the bathroom without passing by Billy and Sidney? [It was made pretty clear that it was two other kids that ran through the hall. There is a scene with Henry Winkler (principal) who is expelling the two students due to the prank.]
During the final scene in the house after Billy and Stu are revealed as the killers, Billy and Stu showed that they put a great deal of effort in planning the murders and the cover ups. But they seemed to forget their fingerprints. Their prints were on the cell phone and voice distorter they put in Mr. Prescott's coat pocket. [There are many ways to conceal fingerprints. One common way is to smear Elmer's glue on the tips of your fingers and let it dry. It is not easy to notice and effectively eliminates your fingerprints. Since they had to touch many things while committing the murders, but still had to appear as themselves, they very likely used a similar method.]
In the garage, Tatum can't escape because the killer locked the door. But once Tatum's killed, the killer leaves the garage without unlocking the door. [Tatum walks into the garage, leaving the garage door wide open. The killer then slowly closes the door and locks it. Tatum tries to open the locked door, then opens the outside garage door. Tatum walks over to see the door open half-way, then close, and turns to see the killer in front of the, now unlocked, garage door. Even though the killer is wearing a GhostFace mask, I doubt he can walk through a closed and locked door.]
In the scene in Stu's kitchen at the end, when Billy has just been stabbed by Stu, Stu gives him the knife and is saying to Syd, "Everybody lives but us." When he says that they'll live because they have to plan the sequel, he is gesturing with his hands, with his pointer fingers pointed up. As he's saying, "'Cause let's face it baby, these days, you gotta have a sequel," his hands go in and out of the frame four times. Just as he says "these days," he has his middle finger up on his left hand instead of his pointer finger. Obviously deliberate on the actor's part, but pretty funny. [Not any kind of mistake in any way whatsoever.]
When Billy, Sidney, and Stu are in the kitchen, Billy licks the blood on his fingers and says "Corn syrup. The same thing they used for pigs' blood in Carrie." However, after Sidney and Stu had sex earlier, there is no way Billy would have had time to smear corn syrup on himself while being stabbed by Ghostface (Stu). We don't see him rub anything on himself. He couldn't have been wearing a packet of fake blood, because Sidney would have noticed it while they were taking off their clothes. [He could have had blood caps in his pockets. The same blood caps are being used in Halloween parties for making blood come out of your mouth.]
Since there were people coming and going to the party after Tatum was killed, and their cars were parked out front, don't you think someone would have noticed a body hanging from the garage door? The news van is also out in front of the driveway the entire time but apparently no one inside sees anything. [The garage door is on the other side of the house.]
When the killer comes out of the house, and pulls the knife out of Dewey's back, look close, and you can see that although the knife was in his back very deep, it is totally clean. [The killer pulls the knife out of his back and wipes it with the sleeve of his costume. It is certainly not clear enough to see the blade the second he pulls it out of Dewey's back.]
Drew Barrymore was initially to have Neve Campbell's part but due to her hectic schedule she decided to play the role of Casey instead. [It is explained in a True Life type documentary about Drew that she was deliberately cast as Casey for the surprise effect, since nobody would expect the well known star's character to die when she did.]
(SPOILER)This may be an actual character mistake rather than a goof, but when Billy reveals that the "blood" on his shirt from when the killer "stabbed" him was actually corn syrup, he also has himself stabbed for real, to corroborate his story. But the problem is, it's the same shirt (as demonstrated when he licks some blood off of it and explains it was corn syrup.) So how would he have explained how corn syrup got onto his shirt while he was fighting off a killer? [Billy only made it look like he was stabbed to fool Sidney. There is nothing to say that he wouldn't change his shirt and make it look like he was wearing that when he was stabbed, before the police arrived.]
Just before Sidney shoots Billy in the head, look at the Ghostface mask behind his shoulder. It looks pristine, but just after you see the big flash from the gun you see the mask has dry blood over it. [When Sidney shoots Billy in the face, the bullet comes out the back of his skull causing blood to pour out at the back of his head (if you look at the scene in slow motion this is very clear). Since the mask was behind his head, the blood from the back of his head splattered on the mask.]
In the scene where Dewey and Gale are entering the house where the party takes place he talks to Sidney and says anything like "Hey Sidney" and she replies something like "Anything new about my father?". This is really strange because Dewey dropped Sidney and Tatum at the party about only 5 minutes ago. The conversation gives the impression that they have not talked to each other for a much longer time. [The reason she asks about her father is BECAUSE Dewey dropped them off five minutes earlier. He drops them off, then leaves (at least, Sidney thinks he leaves), and so when she sees him returning so soon she assumes some urgent news has come up.]
