| Rank | Title | Mistake |
|---|---|---|
Quantum of Solace | In the opening car chase, Bond's Aston Martin switches from silver to black.
High School Musical 3: Senior Year | At Riley's Garage, when Troy and Chad rummage through the junk looking for the radiator cap, Troy's boxers are light grey, but next shot when he lifts the truck's hood his boxers are black.
Titanic | In actuality, the Palm Court (the place where Rose, Cal, and Ruth have lunch with Thomas Andrews, Bruce Ismay, and Molly Brown) did not serve full meals. Only beverages and small snacks like tea sandwiches, pastries, and crumpets were served there. It is quite obvious that the group is supposed to be having lunch based on the items they order (sausage, lamb, salmon, etc.). James Cameron probably set the lunch scene in this location rather than the First-Class Dining Room (the only location where a First-Class passenger could order a full meal [besides their stateroom, of course]) so that Jack and Rose would have a realistic chance of seeing each other for the first time, being as the Palm Court veranda overlooked the Poop Deck.
Saw V | In the electricity trap, after a brief close up, it snaps to a view of the whole room, you can see the boom mic lifting up and actually see outside of the set.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull | When Spalko climbs a hanging vine to escape the large, marauding ants, one jumps on her leg. As it crawls up, she smashes the squishy bug between her knees (you can hear it splatting), but there's no stain or body parts left on her very clean pants.

The Strangers | After Kristen twists her ankle outside the shed, the way she walks changes from hobbling on one foot to walking normally.
Mamma Mia! | In the Souper Trouper scene, when we see Dona, Tanya and Rosie raising their left hands, we see that Rosie is just behind Dona's sleeve. However, in the next shot, in which we only see Dona, we can't see Rosie or her shadow at all.
Independence Day | When the President holds his frightened daughter, in the shot after the alien craft creates a shadow over the White House, there are photographs and a bust of Lincoln on the table beside the President - the view of the photos is not blocked by anything. In the very next close-up of the photos, things differ, such as a large framed photo of the President with the Dalai Lama that appears out of nowhere, between the photo of the First Lady and the photo of the Pope.
A Nightmare on Elm Street | In the bath scene, Nancy is falling asleep and is awoken by her mother then starts falling back to sleep and her inflatable pillow is roughly 8 inches above her head. When the shot changes to face her, the pillow is now below her head.
Sex and the City: The Movie | When the four ladies are sitting around after Charlotte's baby shower, the camera moves from Carrie to Samantha several times. The cake on Carrie's plate goes from almost finished to a complete slice between the two shots.
Iron Man | After Stark escapes, he is walking in the desert, and crests the brow of a sand dune. Then, helicopters burst into view over him and you hear them for the first time. Stark was on the brow of the dune and should have heard them long before.
Max Payne | As the vehicle drives on a street of 'downtown New York', on the right side of the scene as we pass store fronts, one can see the familiar symbol of the American Automobile Association - except it has CAA - Canadian AA. Canadian viewers, especially those from Toronto who recognise the city where this movie was shot, will no doubt smile at this oversight. It's early in the movie - before all the action really starts, I believe before Donal Logue's character is killed.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers | When the Ents are attacking Isengard, just after the river has been released. Merry calls to Pippin "hold on!", but if you look at his lips, he says "Hang on!" The lip-syncing doesn't match.
Alvin and the Chipmunks | When Dave leaves his house for work, there is a skateboard leaning up against the wall by the door and there is an umbrella stand with a lot of umbrellas in it. But when Dave gets back home from work the skateboard is now on the other side of the door in the corner and there are now fewer umbrellas in the stand.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl | When Jack says "If you can spring me from this cell," there are suddenly no bars in front of him anymore. In several shots before this, we see him talking to Will without seeing bars in front of him, but he is still at a fair distance so that it makes sense to put the camera in front of him. But in this shot we actually see the camera move with his face, and we see a bar disappearing to the right, so the camera is on Will's side of the bars, and suddenly we see Jack without bars between the two. (The hole would actually be so big he could get through it and escape.)
Batman Begins | When the burning log falls on Bruce, it lands near his feet. Camera cuts and it's now by his neck.
Sky High | In P.E., after Warren says, "Hey! Get your head in the game!", while Coach Boomer is giving them the rules to the game, the timer switches on, and the citizen gets lowered down. When the citizen starts out, its feet are pointing toward the timer board, but in the next shot, its body is parallel to it.
Burn After Reading | The date on the surveillance footage from the camera in the Russian Embassy says 01.05.08, implying that it is either January or May (depending on which date notation is being used, American mm.dd.yy or Russian dd.mm.yy). However, it is fall/autumn outside, as there are dead leaves everywhere.
The Dark Knight | After Dent shoots Maroni's driver, you can see a geyser under the car that helps it flip.
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York | When Marv ends up stepping on some green gunk that Kevin set as a trap in the basement, he eventually slips and then slides into a shelf of paint. However, Marv actually started sliding after he fell to the ground. It's almost as though he was being pulled forward. How could he have slid?
The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre | When Jenny is hiding in the trees all out of breath, after Vilmer drives off in his truck, the left shoulder strap of Jenny's prom dress is up on her shoulder but then in the next shot it has fallen down her arm. In the following shot it is back on her shoulder! Also there is a flowery corsage on her dress which is on top of a bow which is part of the dress; but in the next shot the corsage is under the bow, then back to being on the bow in the final shot.
88 Minutes | In the stairwell, Ms. Douglas wipes blood from her nose, but in the next shot, there is no visible trace of blood on her face. In the next scene at campus security, the blood is again on her face as it originally was.
Eagle Eye | When Agent Perez gets out of the cooling pool at the end of the movie, she grabs a metal rod and shoves it into the eye of Eagle Eye. When she does this all kinds of electrical sparks fly, and even though she is completely sopping wet, including her hands, she is not electrocuted.
American Pie: Band Camp | Matt is shown that the picture is deleted off the mobile phone and the laptop is showing the desktop. Camera cuts to Matt and you can see his hands the entire time. The camera cuts to a different angle and the laptop has changed to the a countdown.
Secretary | When Lee brings in a packet of doughnuts and coffee for Edward, she positions the packet straight and neat. But in the next shot the packet is facing diagonally and also the books on the table are stacked differently.
Speed | The bus hits many cars in the movie, yet there is virtually no damage sustained by the bus throughout.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban | Hagrid stands up and knocks over all of the glasses on his table at the beginning of the year. In the next shot, look to the left of Hagrid, between two candlesticks. A single glass is sitting upright on the table. In the next shot when Hagrid sits back down, none of the glasses are upright, but with the position the glass was in it should've been visible in this shot. (It's a bit hard to see, and it was spotted in widescreen.)
The Comebacks | When Coach Fields is "Yankin' off horses," his hands are under the horse. Then it cuts to Freddie, and Coach Field's hands are on his lap with no time for him to achieve this.
Step Brothers | After their argument in the car (after Brennan and Dale have shown their presentation), Robert rushes into the house. As the camera moves backwards, you can see a crew member reflected in the mirror on the wall.
Happy Gilmore | If Happy has enough money to bid on his Grandmother's house then he has enough money to pay the back taxes to the IRS and stop the auction. Also, the IRS only cares about the taxes, anything bid over the tax amount is returned to the owner. Happy could bid a million dollars and win, at which point he'd have to pay his own Grandmother, something we can probably assume she wouldn't sue him for, given their relationship.
